It could be the lag playing it's part, but even in this thread someone posted a video of someone being shit, when it appeared they didn't really shoot them. Seen in in final killcam a LOT.

LOL. Don't play One in the Chamber or Hardcore or MW2...

I've only played a couple of games of Hardcore. Only just unlocked it yesterday. Been playing mostly Team deathmatch and barebones (which is a pretty cool idea).

I just think certain choices in the CoD series encourage camping.

You wouldn't camp:

- If the map didn't have 'hiding spots'. Spots where someone couldn't sneak up on you and take you down. CoD MP Maps have heaps of these

- If you knew you're weapon wouldn't take someone out quickly, which is why the only weapon you'll see someone 'camp' with in Halo is the shotgun or sniper rifle. You can camp with anything in CoD. Even if you decided to camp with an AR in Halo, it would take to long to take someone down, and they'd have a chance to counter you somehow.

In theory, the killcam should eliminate camping, but the problems I listed above cancel it out, especially the first point.

Just want to say i played for 6 hours yesterday and i really like it. Played a few MW2 rounds a couple of days ago and it was a fucking mess, i loved that game too but it has turned into a fucking joke right now, might happen in Black Ops too but so far it's great. My only complaint is maybe the maps are way too open, i mean every room has like four access points, even roof tops and two story buildings have like 3 stairs or more, every one. May be good to prevent camping but i get killed from the back A LOT, that didn't happen in MW 2 so often.

I actually ran into a glitch there and Mason would not pick up the launcher. So I died three times while Woods yelled at me and I had no idea what was going on.

I will say, Nuketown is the closest to reminding me of MW2, if only because of the massive amounts of grenades and rocket launchers being shot constantly. I enjoy it though. Now if only folks would stop voting to go right back into it.

I love them. I hate when they chase me, they're a bit hard to counter or see coming if you're not paying attention but there's nothing like approaching an enemy with one who is trying to shoot you down but fails because you zig zag to them and then explode. It's so much fun. Really cool addition to the game, and the risk you take being vulnerable driving them for so long balances out their power imo.

I like them but I really feel they should have been at least a 5 kill streak weapon. It's simply too easy to get them at only 3 kills. I've seen maps where RC cars are zooming around everywhere.

Theyre pretty insane. :lol

I hate dieing to them, but avoid using them simply because I dont like being vulnerable so early on in my killstreaks. When you get something like Chopper Gunner or Airship it sorta doesnt matter if you die, but when im only on 3 kills I sorta still wanna go for the higher rewards. That said the things are effective and I would probably be more inclined to use them if they were higher up on the chain as stupid as that sounds. :lol (I just dont like putting my guy at risk after just 3 kills in a row). Theres nothing more satisfying than shooting an enemies one aswell.

who stopped moving the second we ended up on those cables after sliding through the pipe. I slid down the roof and ended up in a fenced in area where I couldn't move ahead. I had to restart the game at the last checkpoint (above the roof I slid down) walked all the way back to where he was and then he was still there not moving. I had a NPC in a previous stage stop moving. Man is the AI bad.

The single player plays like a Michael Bay wet dream from hell.

Has anyone had a seizure yet from those terrible flashes of light that happen at every single fucking cutscene?

Yeah, the AI is pretty bad. I went ahead of Woods and cleared a room before he got in. The second he steps into the empty room, he yells "COVER ME" and begins to unload a whole clip on the walls with his M16. Things like this just take me out of the game.

I was in a party of 6 last night and we spent 50 minutes trying to find a game. Two people eventually got sick of waiting and left. It still took us about 10 minutes to find a game with a party of 4.

The PC version is almost unplayable for (apparently) half the people who bought it, including myself. The game uses resources in an obscure way, mainly it hogs up your PC's CPU and largely ignores the GPU from what I understand. Which is causing massive amounts of stuttering and rendering the game unplayable for people who are running a CPU older than an i5 (I'm running a Dual-Core from about three years ago ). Since the game is thriving on what is the oldest piece of hardware in my rig, it runs horribly.

It's a problem that can't be fixed by messing with your video settings, meaning the problem is lying mostly inside the game itself. Treyarch said earlier today that they have no idea what's causing it, but they're looking into it.

I'd actually avoid the PC version until it gets fixed, because you're likely going to have a 50% chance the game will run atrociously. For $60, I don't think those dice are worth rolling.

If you don't have that problem however, I hear the game on the PC is outstanding

Btw how is the SP compared to MoH or MW2? I though both games had terrible SP but mw2 just dragged on and hated the US town levels. As for moh, wish it had more afghan-spec op missions.(when you act like them and infiltrate their territory etc)

Then use it after you die...? That would solve your entire dilemma, bro. Since KS rewards don't add to your streak, you should either:

A) Keep mowing fools down with your gun until you get your top KS reward then use them all in rapid succession

Or

B) Call it in once you die and respawn.

I like saving up two or three KSR for kicks and giggles.

Game is unplayable on my PC. I usually have the lowest ping and the stuttering is unbearable. Dropping the resolution does not fix the issue and my PC ran MW2 perfectly.

Yeah they're kinda missing the point but then again they know what they did and they can't admit it. "The game doesn't work but it's only been one day so don't yell at us!" It should be working on that day, we pay $60 man. I get some network errors or lag but the issues are ridic.

Man I feel so lucky right now. I played through the whole campaign and everything went as it should. It ran flawlessly, maybe a few stutters here and there (like most games), no glitches or AI shit even though the AI is typical CoD shit. It looked gorgeous and ran silky smooth. On a 9800GT almost maxed (AF bar half full = 8X?) with 4X AA. Can't wait till my PSU gets here so I can play it on my 460 with loads more AA.

I even enjoyed the weird ass story, though the last chunk was kinda dumb and the

was more disappointing. The only levels I wasn't impressed with looks-wise were the jungle levels. The red mars looking level, snow, last level, etc looked great.

Ran on normal. Fuck Veteran. Beating the last ones knocked a few years off my life. It's not worth it.

Multiplayer doesn't run/look *as* good with no AA. I need my 460. ;-;
