Osbourn has Nixon's haircut:

Cool drawing from Wolverine and the X-Men 25.

I won't post the drawing directly because there's a small spoiler about the current arc of X-Force, Final Execution.

Kid Apocalypse is still alive and going to the school.

The new artist looks like a great fit, and we're seeing the return of Logan's long lost older brother Dog! Lol!

Marvel is milking his family sooo hard! Hahaha...

I thought Kid Apocalypse was with Daken's pals?

FUCK YES! Genesis is great character, and I want to see more of him, and please stop calling him Kid Apoc. I want to see if Genesis can test theory of " is evil in the blood?"

Milo needs to work on his noses. I know he's a erotic art legend, and he is really good with bodies, but I always had a problem with his faces. You end up having to focus on the figures more, and all the curves and contours.

So, the creative pairings for Marvel NOW! Point One have been announced. Some are more obvious than others, of course.

The two obvious ones:

Brian Michael Bendis & Steve McNiven - Star-Lord/Guardians of the Galaxy
Matt Fraction & Mike Allred - Ant-Man/FF

The less obvious:

Jeph Loeb & Ed McGuinness - either Cable or Nova
Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie - One would expect Wiccan, Loki, & Miss America (Young Avengers?), but there are conflicting rumors
Nick Spencer & Luke Ross - Young Avengers? Cable? Nova? Nick Fury, Jr. framing sequence?
Dennis Hopeless & Gabriel Hernandez Walta - Young Avengers? Cable? Nova? Nick Fury, Jr. framing sequence?

If Loeb ends up on Nova, I'm going to be so damn sad.

Haha! Sorry about that, I forgot his actual name! I like him too, I just wish Remender had not killed Fantomex so that those two could interact again. It would be great to see Genesis confront Fantomex about his past actions. :-(

But he can talk to Eva who is Fantomex.... sort of. Fantomex is so confusing. And was he designed in part by Betsy's dad to bang her and produce the ultimate mutant or something?

Since things seem to hint at that.

I need to see the preview for Detective Comics Annual, gotta know if Daniel will go out with a bang. Gonna jump back on WatXM since AvX is winding down.

Who's reading Dial H and what do you think about it? I just got through issues 2 and 3 and liked it when i understood what was going on, mainly the villain shenanigans were a little hard to follow.

I love Dial H because it challenges me and I have no clue what is going on.

If you have no clue what is going on then you failed the challenge!

I'm just glad that it didn't take the easy route and become a story about
the main character having to continually rescue his friend from gangsters

Dosvedanya

And he was the ONLY one I'd have even trusted with the Phoenix's powers.

Point of interest: Had Namor ever had any prior dealings with the Phoenix? Scott, Emma, Peter and Magik have all been involved in Phoenix events of some kind before, right? (DPS for Scott and Peter, Warsong for Emma, and Inferno for Magik) but Namor just kinda lucked out there, huh?

Totally agree. The last issue fleshed out Squid's relationship with everything nicely in just a few pages and made me feel for the dude/thing. It's one of the very few #0 issues I'm looking forward to. Also, Iron Snail has to be a take on Metal Slug, right?

Any recommendation on Absolutes\Omnibus\Compendiums that came out in the last 4 years?
I'll also take any old ones: in the last month I bought Devil omnibus, complete Calvin & Hobbes and Absolute Planetary #1.

And TPBs too.

Now I just need some years to finish read them :ohdear:

What kind of stories do you prefer?

Your question is nebulous but try Darwyn Cooke's Parker Martini edition. Or all-star superman.

Good ones.
No really, I read everything: from indie to Marvel\DC.

I kinda stopped reading comics in 2008 and back then I really liked Jeoff Johns (GL), Warren Ellis (Doktor Sleepless, Nextwave), Kirkman (Walking Dead), Ennis (Punisher, Hitman), Morrison (All-Star Superman, Joe the barbarian) Straczynski (Thor, Rising Stars) and a bunch of other names I can't remember right now.

Get the Walking Dead compendium if you haven't. The first collects 1-48 which is out now and only ~32 on amazon. The second is coming out in october and collects 49-96.

If you're interested in TPB then here's some non-superhero that I can recommend:
Chew
Sweet Tooth
American Vampire
iZOMBIE
The Unwritten
Scalped
Fables
Y: The Last Man

Finalizing my October order and thinking about adding one more book. Was debating between Layman's 'Tec and Parker's Red Shulkie. Any input ComicsGAF? Will also take indie recommendations other than Saga.

Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson's Happy based solely on this Comixology description:
Trapped in a mob hospital at the mercy of the cold-eyed torture expert Smoothie and his team of dedicated sadists, the only hope for Nick Sax is Happy the Horse! With three days to Black Christmas, can our unlikely duo stay together long enough to stop Pedo-Santa's rampage?

#1 comes out in late September and #2 in October.
