It's serviceable. I set it to autorotate and the panels fill up the screen. I just have to flip my phone every once in awhile. I have a 5s so the rotation is instantaneous.

I don't think they're going to change their minds. I suspect the end plan is to tie the entire system into the amazon accounts system like they did with Audible and it seems that like with Audible they're going to keep Comixology as its own entity which is nice.
I wonder if the eventual endgame is to roll up the nice comic reader features into the Kindle app though. While it's a bit of a pain to lose the inapp storefront I don't think it's a deal breaker. Buying my Kindle books via a web browser isn't a chore and buying comics through the web site isn't going to be either.
Now someone get rebellion on board. The kindle versions of a lot of their titles are disgusting. Anyone who bough Judge Dredd collections in the last Kindle sale will know what I'm talking about.
Also there's a very big upside once Comixology get fully integrated into the Amazon ecosystem. Much better prices. People in this thread have already pointed out that collections on the Kindle store tend to be much cheaper than the comixology equivalents. Just hang in guys. It'll work out in the end.
*Edit* One extra thought. If they decide like Audible to keep comixology as a totally separate app to the Kindle a nice gesture would be to let you transfer comic purchases we've already made in the Kindle app to the Comixology one (Assuming they're available in both of course). I do prefer to keep my media in the same app for each type.
Android tablet app was just the phone app. It was never superior.
Doesn't matter though; looking to Amazon to make the Android experience better is a foolish notion.

The second Hawkguy TPB was excellent. Better than the first, IMO. Loved the dog stuff.
So far Days of Future Past is a huge let down. I knew little to nothing about the story and to find out that there is one whole issue of Cyclops just telling the history of the X-Men? Lame. And then the issue of Nightcrawler and co. in "hell"? Ew.
I want to see Sentinels come onnnn
Also started Ultimate Spider Man on recommendation from some on here. I'm only four or five issues in, I can't remember, but I'm liking it so far. The art style is a bit wonky sometimes and the random close ups of characters' eyes every other page is a bit odd. But yeah overall decent.

Just ordered the whole Ultimate Fantastic Four Series (12 TPBs) for 55 Very excited to read though all of this. On top I got the Captain America Newspaper 1940 Strips for 4.
Seemed like a good deal for an I wanted to read though all the other Ultimate Universe stuff until they decided to destroy it (Aka Ultimatum). I hope I can get my hands on all the Ultimate X-Men Stuff, it seems like a lot of it is out of print and the prices are very high.

I started reading my Ultimate Spider-Man omnibus and I have come to the conclusion I will never get tired of the origin story of Spider-Man. It's just fun to read in its many variations.
Curently trying to get all USM. Its awesome, remember picking up issue 5 in like 2001? When it came out and loved this incarnation of the character.
I love USM origin.
One of the few times where Bendis managed to use decompression in his favor.
I felt the same way. I always enjoy reading the beginning of USM from time to time.
Honestly I don't mind seeing different creators' takes on the origins of a lot of the big 2's main heroes.

I feel the same way about the Legion origins. They've always just tickled something inside of me in the right way. Some origins are just timeless and can be retold again and again effectively.

so the next time someone very graciously gifts me an itunes gift card, wtf am I supposed to spend it on?!?!?!
sell it on ebay I guess... along with all the random starbucks cards I get lol.
also, 2 weeks ago, AMEX gave me an offer where I spend $5 on itunes I get that $5 credited back.
so thankful I was able to take advantage of it before it was too late!!

There seems to be a .eu site too. It's not giving me that message, so I hope that works for me. Still don't like this direction however.

AFAIK, the .eu and .fr sites both use the same terrible conversion rate anyway, so you can avoid the terrible .fr layout but you'll be paying more than on .com anyway.
As an example, the Superior Spiderman bundle is $70 (~50) and that ends up as 63 on comixology.eu and .fr, unless I'm missing something.
Meanwhile at Comixology the message seems to be

I've realized that since I got it but I had no idea before I started reading.
I thought it was some huge event similar to Civil War or something. Which I have not read, either.
But Age of Apocalypse is much larger though, right? Is that worth picking up?
Interested in matt fractions invincible iron man, as well as michael strats run on amazing.
I have a stack from strats run of amazing but id like all of it since i love the art from that run. I have an issue of when pete fought morlun, and i always thought morlun was badass
Edit: also, why hasnt marvel printed the next volumes of web of spider/man in essentials? There are only volumes 1&2.
I guess marvel doesnt consider them essential. Vol2. has kravens last hunt so i can understand why they would end there, maybe marvel really didnt think it was worth to print the rest of the series
