Wow, Young Terrorists #2 actually came out. 84 pages for $6

See you next year for #2

I think it completes the story, they combined everything into the one massive book. Unless you mean there's a series 2 coming out next week. Can't believe I forgot to preorder it :(

Midnighter and Apollo is at #3 and it's terrific. That's really all I'd recommend in that range. All-Star Batman is at #3, as well...it's pretty damn good? But pricey and not for everyone. I like it a lot but it is hard to recommend because of the price tag.

And I'm going to ignore your requested range ever so slightly and urge you to try the Flintstones which is a legit incredible comic. #6 came out last week. It's one of my top three books right now and it's hard to oversell it. Try it.

I'm on pins and needles waiting for Wildstorm to drop but that's all I'm really excited about that's coming up from them. Oh and Super Sons I think finally launches in....February? Can't think of anything else but I generally don't pay much attention until books are close.

Teen Titans
Batman beyond
Raven
Midnighter
Deadman

Batwoman, JLA, and Super Sons in February.

Thanks, guys!

First the arc in Superman and now this adorable story in the holiday special

DC, I need Super Sons immediately. In fact I will read any book that teams up best buds Jon and Damian. If they put Jon in Teen Titans I would have to pull it forever.

Don't you dare delay that book again

The payoff in that story was so good. Super Sons cannot get here fast enough

this is what I do when I do not post in this thread, by the way

As my name may suggest im a hentai lover, it had a big impact on my life as is something that helped me through my depression, for me its the greatest work of art invented by mankind, doesn't matter wich genre it never fails to hypnotize me, but i feel like a lot of people fail to understand that and think of hentai as something disgusting that only sick people watch.

especially my teacher to the point where he said i needed a psychiatrist. Let me make it clear that he didnt said that because i had "sexual content" on the work but more due to the fact that he saw that as "doll porn" and despisable content
showing doll porn to a whole class

amazing

I'm sure theres good hentai out there somewhere, but imagine all the tentacle porn you have to wade through to get to one that deconstructs that whole genre

I've never read Trinity War, but I got the feeling they really didn't know where to take the story. They know what they're doing this time, plus it's contained and will only last two months. Plus I'm pretty much a fan of all the writers and like the artist involved. The story has me interested, particularly the third party too. I'm all in.

Hey folks, I'm looking to pick up a Christmas present for a friend of mine and was hoping for some recommendations of some of the best Batman or X-Men books of the last 5 years. Thanks.

More aggressive delays than an Archie book?!

Meh. It was okay, but like a lot of Marvel events, it had a lot of build up for what turned out to be nothing. The Orb was fucking hilarious, though.
Archie and jughead don't have delays though. Just that after life stuff. Pussy cats are fine as well

The Black Mirror, Scott Snyder. Or for more familiar Batman, The Court Of Owls. The City Of Owls is the second part of the storyline, depending on your budget. X-Men, I guess the Bendis runs of All-New & Uncanny were best received in that time frame? Not necessarily my expertise.

Can't really decide if The Black Mirror is MORE accessible because of the different traditional viewpoints than Bruce, or less because you'll start to question why it's not Bruce etc.

Absolutely yes. The entire company is made of massive delays.

All of those books were delayed twice in the past 3 months. It's why we don't have an Archie banner. It's just those delays are usually a week or two. Pussycats has had two big delays since starting including a month delay this month.

I was reading the Aaron's run of Ghost Rider and I think the Orb appears for the first time in that run.

The fact that he comes back later in Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine is fantastic.

waste of time when you try to implement it to the the greater Marvel U.

Maybe?

I thought it was an interesting concept. Especially that thor thing.

But you aren't wrong because then its like " hey battle world, doom gets to live out his simp ass simp dreams" Ooops we made a new universe. So the relevancy of the " man on the wall" was immediately downplayed by something far greater than that guy could handle.

Unless they revealed that the universe rearranging was planned by bucky

Well damn had no idea

Hillbilly #4 dropped today. It was good, though not quite as amazing as the first three issues were.

Looking forward to Slam #2 and Invincible Iron Man #2 next week!

Nice to see WicDiv made it. I couldn't include it on my own list with just 10 titles to choose from, but it's a pretty amazing book.

So aside from the Young Animal stuff (which I'm on top of), is there anything from DC especially worthwhile coming out now that's still in the 1-I guess-5 issue range, instead of ballooning past that? I created my pull list a bit back, but due to Marvel buy one get one close to that to help catch up, it started off kind of Marvel centric, and then it feels like all the #1s that have gotten discussion in here since then haven't been DC (again, outside of Young Animal), which has just slanted my list further. I realize it'll eventually balance out, but it feels weird. So yeah, any suggestions of stuff I can try jumping on that won't involve buying like 7-10+ issues at full price from DC? And any particularly interesting new series coming from them soon to keep an eye on?

Well, a lot of great books have already shot past that level due to double shipping, but some stuff that's still in low numbers:

Titans
New Superman
Raven (it's a mini, but come on, it's Marv Wolfman writing Raven, and it's so good)

cyclops was right should of been the sub title.

Oh snap I forgot to say that new superman is worth the 3 bucks a month. Easy to catch up on too

Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1 to #7

Peter Parker's death didn't affect me in the slightest and I'm very lttp on this but so far I'm not enjoying how dependent Miles is on others. There hasn't been any credible threat nor nemesis aside from "Mutants", having other superheroes intervene so soon into the storyline certainly helps to make the world feel "alive" and more united but to me it just ends up discredeting Morales as an individual. Same opinion applies to Ganke.

Nevertheless I'm quite enjoying the family side of the equation and It has been the highest point so far.

The art is serviceable, doesn't help that Marvel's app is complete garbage.
