I really just want the Windows comixology app to work more than 50% of the time. Please comixology, I'm not asking for much!

Dude, asking for way too much!

How much of the market do u think windows tablets are?

Also coworker has one of those windows tablets and brings it up every day.

Someday I will get to have a commission from Kevin Wada until then I will live vicariously through his twitter feed. I am just floored by his work.

I hate you sometimes

Because I had the foresight to buy it while it was still available? I was like "Hm, this looks like it's going to go out of print at some point. I should buy it."

Seriously, though, I was on an Amanda Conner kick at the time, so I was buying most everything in sight.

Street Fighter Legends: Chun-Li is getting a hardcover. If you wanna know how Sagat got the eye patch or what Chun was like as a cop this comic is for you:

Street Fighter comics are a bit overwhelming for me to jump into. There are so many across comics & manga that I'm confused by what fits where in the timeline.

The first Absolute Edition of Y: The Last Man comes out next week (Jul.1) and I don't know if I should buy it. I've got the whole series already in Deluxe Hardcover format. What I really need is the first Kabuki Hardcover, which I think comes out the following week.

Also, this week's list:

Fight Club 2 #2
Batgirl #41
Grayson #9
Legacy of Luther Strode #2
Walking Dead #143
Howard the Duck #4
Uncanny Avengers #5

Is Kevin Wada also a fashion designer?

His art is fabulous max.

A large number of his commissions are fashion redesigns of comic characters. He specifically mentions that he loves doing them on his blog. If I got a commission it would be a fashion redesign. I love his sense of style.

So Miles's book is gonna be just Spider Man, and Peter's most likely keeping Amazing, but who's gonna be All New All Different.

I'm going to guess...
•Dark Horse joins the Comixology fold
•Discounts for digital subscription
•Streaming HD comics, meaning we don't need to download comics to our computer/tablet
• Sensational Spider-man Annual 1 by Fraction
• oh and free print copies for every digital comic bought

  • Social sharing reading lists like Spotify playlists.
  • Use your MU subscription on CMX so the app actually god-damned works.
  • DC to let you trade in individual issues for the relevant trade (a "download six books as a package" would work too...).
  • A "you've not read this yet" filter for your library.
  • Pornz.
  • Oh, if Dark Horse would let me transfer the stuff I bought on their app over that'd be good too...

Anyone else think that G. Willow's X-Men is not good? I also found myself feeling kind of meh on A-Force

  • Wilson's X-Men is still better than Brian Wood's.
  • A-Force is one issue in at this point. I would at least give it another issue or two before you bail. That said, it was better than I expected it to be.
I expected it to be terrible
    .

It's actually not as overwhelming as you think. The Udon comics are the only ones that are canon to the games so you don't have to worry about the manga. The comics are in this order:

Street Fighter - Takes place after the first Street Fighter tournament and introduces the characters.
Street Fighter II - Prequel to the Street Fighter II tournament.
Street Fighter II Turbo - The Street Fighter II tournament.
Street Fighter IV - A tie-in book to Street Fighter IV. Introduces all the new characters in IV.
Super Street Fighter - Takes place after Street Fighter II turbo.

Street Fighter Legends: Chun-Li takes place before the first Street Fighter tournament so it's pretty self contained and honestly if you know just the basic stuff about Chun-Li and Street Fighter you should have no trouble reading them.

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
Wilson's shown her chops with Ms. Marvel. Not everyone transitions to team-books well (ie, Bendis) but she's earned enough goodwill for me to give A-Force an honest try.

Should I read all of Gillen's Thor run? #604-#614?

i re-edited my post to show the issues i think add a lot to JiM. i don't think the whole run would add much more.

JiM is a tremendous story, i'm jealous you get to read it for the first time.

Need to get one of those Anka/Wada collaborations of Jean and Emma side-eyeing each other.

Maybe her writing is not for me. I can tell Ms Marvel is well written but I just don't enjoy the complete package. I really hope she succeeds with A-Force as I love the idea.

maybe not. i think Ms. Marvel is the best thing Marvel's put out in years, and Kamala is the best new character in ages.

top to bottom, some of the most relatable, charming comics i've ever read.

Okay, that's something to go by. But why do the titles jump around like that? Putting a SSF comic after an SFIV comic is pretty misleading.

That's how I feel about Squirrel Girl. Glad Marvel has been trying these kinds of things in the past few years.

Kaine

LOL just kidding nobody gives a fuck about Kaine

Udon's trade/hardcover pricing for comics is insanity. $35 MSRP for a four issue minseries in hardcover.

If I wanted to read it, I'd just buy it digitally for $6.99. They do good artbooks at least.
It's only $25 with Amazon Prime. But yeah there prices are sometimes ridiculous. I paid the $100 for the MvC hardcover artbook only cuz it was the only option at the time.
