I always read Batman with the german dub of Christian Bale and Alfreds Speechbubbles with the german dub of Michael Cain. They are the perfect match for these characters for me.

I really need to read both of those since I loved Scarlet so much. I'm sort of holding off on Daredevil for now though in hopes that they reprint the omnibuses when the Netflix series hits. Sort of risky since the ultimate collection TPBs are going out of print, though. I'm hoping that they're letting them go out of print because they're planning to reprint the omnibuses though. If not and they just go out of print with nothing replacing them and without a new printing, I'm kind of screwed.
I'll try to pick up Spider-Woman soon though.

I didn't realize the art in Alias was so disappointing. I feel like Marvel just gives Bendis his choice of artist to work with now because of this......

I was hoping to ask you guys about sales, now that I'm starting to get interested in digital comics.

Is Dark Horse Digital likely to have sales or discount codes this holiday season? I'd like to pick up a lot of their licensed series like Halo and Mass Effect.

I started replaying Arkham Asylum over the past few nights. It holds up surprisingly well visually. Still a lot of fun to play. Mark Hamill is just fantastic in the early parts.

I also love the patient interview tapes you can find.

Hell yeah! Though I prefered Arkham City significantly more. Playable Catwoman? No brainer!

I'm afraid I didn't care for the Catwoman segments. Her gameplay never really clicked with me.

My copy of Arkham City didn't come with the Catwoman code. Eventually got given one a couple of hours after I got home. By the time I'd finished the game, I wished I hadn't bothered, her sections are easily the weakest. Didn't enjoy it as much as AA overall, I preferred the Metroidvania style of the Asylum as opposed to the big city environment.

I think Asylum is still my favorite standalone Batman work. I should really go back for the platinum some time.

I'll never forget Asylum. I bought it at a GameStop in Clearwater, Florida on my honeymoon. It was a stormy day and we decided to shop on the rainy day and it came out and I just stared at the box the whole trip.

Asylum is still the best. Great atmosphere and story.

didn't much care for traversing the whole city. Orgins had some cool parts but was meh overall. wish rocksteady would move onto someone else

I usually like paper, but with the new Mass Effect and Halo books, I saw that Dark Horse digital has 4 issue collections of Mass Effect Foundation for $6 bundles, as opposed to spending like $14 at Amazon.

The time most convenient for me to read them would probably be on a PC in their browser reader. I don't have a tablet, just a PC and smartphone.

Lame to hear that their app sucks, though. You can't use it to download the mags and then load them up in a different reader?

No, you have to use their app. They do run sales frequently AFAIK.

Thanks. I'll see how the holiday season pans out. If I could get them for even cheaper than the current digital price, I think it'll be worth saving the money skipping a physical copy. I'll keep preordering Saga paperbacks, though :p

This is a book I never knew I wanted. He needs to get on some MAX books and let the filth run freely. Murphy's books are pure grit and attention to every bloody detail. I want to see Murphy Frank Castle killing some people.

Wow. That is incredible. Where/when was that posted? Is it just some random pin-up he did at some point or could it possibly be because he's on one of the TBA Punisher books?

Edit: It says 2013 right there. I'm blind.
Either way, he should totally get put on the upcoming Punisher MAX book.

Just some commission he did like my Batman one he did from NYCC. Guy is hands down this generation's Mobieus. Guy is fucking brilliant and probably my favorite artist of all time.

Heh, I'll take whoever we can get from them, it would be hilarious to see the meltdowns on GAF if it was Aquaman.

I just wish Marvel actually got their crap together and got some good studios working on original games. They're missing out some good cash.

I imagine Marvel Heroes 2015 is very profitable for them. They've also got all those mobile games which seem to be doing well like Avengers Alliance, Puzzle Quest and the upcoming Contest of Champions.

Who even has the Marvel licenses for big box games now? Activision are only making Sony movie tie-ins now and they pulled Deadpool from Steam and all the Spider-Man comic games from PSN/XBLA. I imagine they'll never work with EA after Marvel Nemesis flopped. That pretty much only leaves Ubisoft *shudder* of the studios that would be big enough to land the Marvel license.

I wish they had made that first-person Avengers game that was prototyped.

That'd be the only Marvel game I'd need if they gave each character their own inventories instead of all items in a player's inventory carrying over whenever you switched characters. If they just changed that, I'd be glad to put up with everything else.

I can't even get my friends to play, and we have played pretty much every lootwhore game in existence over the last few years. You'd think after a hundred hours of the "humour" of Borderlands 2 I could get my comic on, but no. =(

Oh yeah, I know their puzzle and mobile games are doing well, I just want a AAA Marvel game by a noted studio not from Activision or Ubisoft. Sort of in the Arkham style but with different combat and it can be more like Asylum if it wants to be.

Next Level Games' (non-canon) movie Captain America game was actually half-decent and had the superior HYDRA designs that should have made the big screen. With a bigger budget and different characters I think they could do well.
