Not Spider-Gwen but I think he has enough game to perhaps get a date with Ultimate Gwen.

But he wouldn't do that as he knows his friend Ganke is hot for her.

Gwen was pretty into Ganke's Legos- Miles'd never throw a bro under the bus like that.

Can't wait until he hacks the Fantastic Four

[OPEN ON BAXTER BUILDING, NIGHT]
REED RICHARDS is typing on a computer. Not just any computer, though. The keyboard is approximately six feet long, and he's stretching his arms to both ends. The screen is lit with colorful symbols and a bunch of MATH BULLSHIT.
REED: Eureka! I've found it. This is the way into the NEGATIVE ZONE. I've got to tell SUE STORM, my wife who I love.
SUDDENLY, the screen flashes to a dark green color. A pulsing SILVER MASK appears on the screen, and under it, a name: D00M.
BEN GRIMM rushes into the room.
BEN: Aw, no! It's that DOOM guy. He must be a real DOCTOR of messing with our plans!
REED: He's hacked the entire internet! I can't backtrace his IP!

JOHNNY STORM flies in through the window, on fire. JOHNNY, that is. The window is not on fire.
JOHNNY: Reed! Bad news! I can't watch Netflix! The internet is down!
[LAUGH TRACK]
REED: We've got bigger problems. This is no time for you to catch up on THE BIG BANG THEORY.
[SCENE END, CUT TO LATVERIA]
D00M is typing on a computer that has six monitors. On the top left monitor is a picture of REED RICHARDS with an X over his face.
The monitor in the center has a real-time satellite feed of the interior of the BAXTER BUILDING.
D00M: Ha ha, Richards. My plan is just beginning. Next, I'll delete... your lives.

10/10 would read again

I finished the first part of Gillen's Thor run. The ending to JMS' story was satisfying, and I also liked the Disir arc. The issue where Thor descended into Mephisto's hell was great, loved this moment. The Siege arc in between was pretty bad though, didn't get anything out of that. Except for this:

I can't get over the look in that final panel.

For Thor I now have a couple of options:

- Fraction's run: there's World Eaters first, then his seperate run. I've read some reviews and they're pretty mixed across the board. Is any of his Thor stuff worth reading?
- Gillen's JIM: most intruiging, since this focuses on Loki and I thought he wrote him well. Is this story seperate from Fraction's series, can I just jump into JIM
- Aaron's Thor: easiest option, but I'd rather try out one of the above first.

And I ordered 'Trials of Loki', which is supposed to be really good.

Also finished Uncanny X-Force a while ago and even though I was a bit down on it before, I'd have to adjust my opinion on that because the big final arc was just excellent. Everything that was set up in the past, got a good payoff. This is one of those stories I may reread down the line.

It did push me into getting the first two trades of the current Deadpool series. Just wanted to get more of him after I was done with UXF. I loved the extra fat camp short story at the end of the omni:

I'd go straight into JiM, cuz Fraction's Thor is pretttttttty Birdie tier until the crossover with JiM at the end, Everything Burns, and Aaron's Thor can be saved for later.

That Uncanny X-Force is basically one of my favorite comic stories. I've read it three times in the last few months and can't believe it took me this long to get to it. Also, the best portrayals of both Deadpool and Fantomex that I've read so far.

This series actually made me care about mutants in comics. Which was something of an accomplishment, since the whole mutant thing always seemed like too much of a mess to dive into. But a nice, self-contained series like this, with only a few protagonist characters, was just my speed.

World Eaters had some neat ideas but also a lot of really poorly explained scenes. Like stuff happens and you don't know why / how. The arc after that though (The Galactus Seed) was pretty cool.

Check out Uncanny Avengers if you haven't already. Remender's current stuff at Image, like Deadly Class and Black Science, is really great too.

Much as I want and will eventually pick up Hickman FF, I decided to be responsible and hold off rather than jump on now for the discount on the second omnibus.

Also, got in my shipment from IST today. Now up to #3 on the Powers Definitive, Exiles Ultimate, and Hellblazer new printing stuff.

Skip fraction Thor. Just soooo boring and a waste of time. Read JMS Thor, the JIM, then Aaron Thor

Already read JMS Thor, enjoyed it even more than the Simonson stuff. Incredible book.

I guess it's pretty clear I should just dive into JIM, thanks.

The callback to that in Young Avengers is GODLIKE.

AND SO IS YOUNG AVENGERS I WILL ACCEPT NO DISSENT ON THAT.

No ._.

Edit: Shit. It looks like all the Dark Horse Star Wars Omnibus collections are drying up. It's pretty sad.

Of course they are. Dark Horse is losing dat SW license soon. End of the year, isn't it? I don't think Star Wars is ever going to be as great as
it once was. Not even with Disney milking the shit out of it and telling us how great it is.

This is your reminder that Gillen is writing a Darth Vader book that's an Empire prequel about Vader going all House of Cards on everyone. Okay Larroca is illustrating whatever it's going to rule.

Hey think about it like this

Now you don't have to read Star Wars on the Dark Horse app if you buy digitally

Oh geez. IST is having a 60% off select DC titles sale and the Hitman TPBs are included. I really, really, really didn't wanna be spending any more money, but those have been way high on my wishlist for a long time.
I just got an email saying I didn't get that job I interviewed for, too, so I really shouldn't be spending so much... But such a good deal...
son of a fuck, it's every Hitman TPB except the first one

Read JiM with Sif too

RIP
Jordie Bellaire kills it on that

How kind of them. They get to take all of the work Dark Horse put into the franchise and cash-in.

Man, fuck Marvel.

I hate to break it to you and ruin your poorly-justified outrage, but this is how practically every contract for licensed comics is structured.

IDW reprints DC's Star Trek comics and Marvel's Transformers and GI Joe comics. Marvel reprinted BOOM!'s Disney comics for a while. And Dark Horse? They reprinted Marvel's Star Wars comics when they had the license, and more recently, they've reprinted the Marvel Conan series as well.

Just read the first few issues of Preacher and starting to understand why this run is so well recieved. Already ordered the next volume with the Seven Soldiers of Victory books on sale.

Shhh. I'm not really outraged.
Whew, I thought you were legit outraged and about to send an angry worded letter to your congressman.

Yeah, I read that one (in preparation for Axis), but I didn't like it as much. I'm not entirely sure why either, but I think it's just a personal preference thing, where I like stories to have a more personal angle to them and it just felt like the story took over the characters, if that makes any sense.

I'll have to take another look at it to see if I can't pinpoint my problem with it, but it just didn't grab me.

Batman Beyond is amazing after you go past the TV adaptation stuff. It becomes more dark and mature compared to the Cartoon Network feel the original show had. It includes remnants of the Batman Inc storyline in it and Hush makes a comeback. I'm currently reading the 2012 series now.

Our ComicGAF brethren saw the Batman Beyond light too late. But you're right, it has been amazing. Was one of my first reads every week that it came out (I read physical collected versions).

So I am wondering if I can get away with just reading Amazing Spiderman for the Spider-Verse story.
I really don't want to buy all the other books.

I found this so I am assuming I can get the main story just through ASM

I really enjoy Star Wars Legacy, but you know that Disney and Marvel are going to cut that out of cannon faster than Grand Moff Tarkin blew up Alderaan.
