No, most attempts at similar effects look pretty awful in still shots. It is very slick in motion, though...

Rare's handheld team hinted that Killer Instinct 1/2 would make a prefect GBA release... though I'd say DS would be better for the button layout...

It actually looks like they're toning the fur down a notch. When they first showed it off, it was WAY too over-the-top -- Conker looked like a rabid animal. It's looking a bit better now.
