By the way, I clearly remember something about some European company sueing Nintendo up to $250 million for something, and I remember reading something about them paying it back. I think they were going to use the money for additional devs or something, but couldn't due to the lawsuit.

But I may have dreamed this up or something, does anyone remember of such a thing happening?

Its was 180-250mil for anti-competitive practices in europe. I can't recall what the exact number is They had to use the money for something so just as well.

Those Joanna Dark concept pieces are horrendous. What happened to the earlier pieces that they showed like 2 years ago...they looked much better.

Hey remember at the end of Banjo-Kazooie when the shaman guy said that in Banjo-Tooie, the sequel, we'd somehow be able to go back to Banjo-Kazooie and unlock new areas and moves via those crystal keys and the infamous "Stop and Swap"? And remember when we bought Banjo-Tooie two years later and there was no way to go back to the first game, no mention of "Stop and Swap", and those damn crystal keys got us a whole lot of nothing?

Yeah, that's when I realized Rare was up to no good. Good times.

im pretty sure nintendo had set money aside for this lawsuit way before the rare deal came to play.
