Muricy is a league coach. He needs time and consistency to build up his best work. Not exactly what a national team is. Muricy is not and will never be a good fit for the Brazilian national team.

Also, just reminding everyone who diminished Argentina's latest win for 3x0 on the C.R. boys that today Brazil did beat THE team that lost to Venezuela and allowed a score twice. Just saying...

Maicon looked good but I remember Bale completely destroying him in the CL group stages, a speedy winger would wreck him. Thats why I think Menezes will put in Alves back in the lineup at some point. Someone like Alexis Sanchez would make Maicon look his bitch.

No one was expecting Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay to play as bad as they had.... (nor Venezuela to play like they have)

I don't get why some coaches let their lineups be known 2 o 3 days before the actual match.

Apparently Batista is using the same lineup that he used against Costa Rica.

Uruguay is gonna throw crosses up the wazoo, Milito can barely jump... Why not put in Garay, younger and taller defender? Sure Milito has better ball handling abilities, but I would sacrifice that in a heartbeat.

As far as Chile goes, I'm more worried about Venezuela than Brazil. They have their best team ever, while Brazil has shown a really lame play lately. Chile's A-team can beat them easily provided they don't screw up.

I'm hoping for Chile and either Colombia or Uruguay in the finals.

Chile put their B team against Peru, with some top player changes at the end, and even then you couldn't score.

Saying that a team can easily beat another one....on this cup....is just so out of place


Oh, and you guys need to put Suazo on the bench, dude has been missing so many chances its ridiculous.
