Anyone else having issues using a Dualshock 4 on PC? Tried a zillion things and I can't get the D-pad working properly in this game. (left and right inputs are registering as diagonals) Seems to work fine in everything else I've tried. Navigating menus with the analog stick is unpleasant.

I'm a big fan of Chrono Trigger, and I'm very eagerly watching review scores to see if this game is worth picking up.

If someone started playing the pre patched beta version and stopped a few hours in, will they have to restart the game over once the patch hits or will they be ok to continue from where we left off?

Backed this project over 3 years ago... can't wait for the PS4 version to be fixed so I can give this game a try.

Hopefully before the weekend but ideally tonight for all those who cannot wait anymore.

Good to know, will continue with other games until then.

Does anyone know if I'm missing a way to change button configuration? Hard for me to get used to X confirm O cancel.

I beat it in around 16 hours, although there's at least a little bit of side content left. Also, there may or may not be an epic side dungeon that I'm missing, still trying to work that one out.

Are you guys going to have to pay the submission fee for a new patch, or will Sony eat that cost?

This OST is amazing. Haven't listened to all of it but so far every one I have liked. The OG trailer music (L'Salle), Gunmancer and Walking the Beat are the stand out jamsss so far.

I feel like I'm replaying a game I grew up with and played obsessively. Feels like home.

Won't be able to play this for a few weeks or so, since I want to finish Persona 5 beforehand, but I went ahead and picked it up with the Steam discount anyway. So much RPG goodness, I just can't handle it.

Developers aren't charge with patches for the current consoles unlike the previous console generation. However, there is a certification process each patch has to go through before it gets approved, which takes time compared to on PC where a developer can upload a patch and deploy it with a couple of clicks on Steam.

I played for around 20 minutes. Everything was going great. Then i got some dumb notification that I needed a windows update. So I saved, updated windows. Upon attempting to play again I cannot get my DS4 to work in this game no matter what I do. Nothing is registering. Restarted multiple times. I have attempted in and out of BPM, the controller is allowing me to navigate in BPM to select the game, I have the right configs etc.. Just nothing at all once the game starts. I booted up some other games, even tried Breath of Death and they all work fine.

Robert, you indicated you "hope to have CSH stuff done by the end of this year", is there DLC coming? If yes, would it be better to wait until the DLC is released to have the full experience of the game? Or would the DLC be something you could easily play after you defeat it?

(Unless the things you are talking about by the end of the year is the VITA and LRG versions).

I'd imagine they meant ports, retail release, etc.

But there's some little things that need adding to the base game first.

But mostly he meant ports, physical versions etc

I just started and got killed by the first boss. I'm intrigued by the battle system and look forward into strategizing. Unfortunately I'm playing on PS4 so I guess I should wait for the patch to go live before continuing.

Oh? Like what? Things that would be better to experience in playing the game fresh (from the beginning) or can easily be played after defeating the game?
