Acen destroys that poor team, held them to under 80 points, and only 36 in the 2nd half :lol

Noel finally goes off -- shame it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Going up against a Pro D team tomorrow.. should be a tough challenge.

Even though we seemed to win most of the stats, two jump out:
Rebounds: OKC 52 / FU 65
FG Percentage: OKC 39-100 (39%)/ FU 37-88 (42%)


oh crap this just in:
Stephen F. Smith reported that after the game starting C Jerome James was furious with not only the starters for not helping on the boards, but the bench and specially Jesus Shuttlesworth and Anthony Mason for what he deemed as a "lack of cohesion".

James left without speaking to reporters after the game, but Stephen F. managed to get a word with Jerome's PR rep. He stated "The team is in a funk and Jerome is feeling even more pressure to be the rebounding, defensive presence he usually is. Problem is that he feels he's the only rebounding defensive presence in the starting lineup. In his mind the organization's team philosophy is geared more towards offense and does not match his philosophy taught to him by defensive guru Jeff Van Gundy."

James is averaging 7.2 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 25 games this year for the Barons.

STUNNING UPDATE:
Stephen F. Smith is reporting a rumor that Reigning Defensive Player of the Year Jerome James has asked to leave the starting lineup of the Barons. It is not known if this report is true, but his PR agent has said after the game Jerome had a "lengthy conversation" with the Barons' GM about his role and future of the team. Another report is that he has asked for a trade, but that report is unsubstantiated.

Jerome James and Stephen F. Smith can't see the forest through the trees. Jerome can stop worrying about past glories -- it's painfully evident who Season 3's DPOY will be.

Even after getting caught slanging nickel sacks in Seattle, Shawn Kemp will still be remembered as a better basketball player then Jell-o James. After Isiah Thomas has been removed from the NBA there will be no more work for James...even the Euro teams wouldn't give James a contract, so it would behoove him to keep his trap shut and eat off of the goodwill of the Barons.

Peter Fescey did say Jerome wanted to be traded according to sources.

Peter Fecsey is also reporting Jerome James willl hold a press conference after tonight's game to address the rumors surrounding him and the Barons. Interestingly enough the news came not from his PR guy as usual, but from his agent.

it's a chemistry with another player. not the same guy. and you can only have 1 chem. you would know if you were actually on a team

Peter Fecesey is reporting that in the midst of players getting offers, Jerome James has received offers from three teams; one of them being the 21-1 Spartan Pecs whose only loss was to the OKC Barons, and at least one "top tier team". James was unavailable for comment before the game...
