Nah, I'm good thanks.

There are literally dozens of sites reporting this. Just none of the mainstream in the US. Are we surprised?

It's a small number that got it. Consistent with most vaccinations. Still showing not to be worth it for a virus that is not going to kill me. I will not start injecting things because it will "save someone else". Not a slope I want to go down.
CMON MAN THINK ABOUT GRANDMA WHO HAS 1 KIDNEY AND COPD!

When the vaccine becomes mandatory im going to make a fortune selling rubber arm Halloween props.
Early retirement here I come.
Its already mandatory for some.
My wife works at the hospital and next wednesday they will all be vaccinated or they cant work.
I guess you can say its not mandatory if you are willing to lose your job

Really? Wow. I never would have thought they'd make it mandatory so fast. Even for health workers. You'd think they would wait till they'd given a few million doses to the public so they have a much bigger pool of people to monitor for reactions from before considering making it mandatory.
How does she feel about getting it? Happy? Nervous?

Its like Germany.

They want everyone to take the vaccine to the major news outlets are not reporting about "negative" aspects of the vaccine.

In Germany, our major news outlets are forbidden to report anything negative about refugees. That way they can increase acceptance of refugees.

Germany won't be Germany in 25 years. Enjoy it while it lasts.

She doesnt feel happy or nervous. I dont think she understand the pros and cons given mainstream data is censored.
She just does her job and takes it as part of her job

2020 is the year many became anti-vaxxers.

When the alien bases are found on the moon in 2021, they'll become flat Earthers.

It's in the official data Pfizer released, and the FDA commented on it.

Not sure how much more official you need than that.

My sister in law had it a couple months ago. Lasted about a week and a half. Stress related

Damn, sorry ): At least it went away.

Still though; it's annoying how theyre all "hey its perfect and fine take it" *people get pallsy and bad reactions* "completely unrelated".

Why is the world just turning a blind eye to the catastrophes china brought us??

I was googling some Covid stuff and Reuters made an article trying to cover for WHO's ass; about claiming it couldnt be spread. Blows my mind how people just bend over and take it.
Screenshotted these today...

I'm sure it's worded in such a convoluted way that someone from WHO can say theyre telling the truth all along. If Trump posted the above info he'd be cancelled, shut down and have a TWITTER CLAIM made against him. Trump should retweet that tweet a billion times till china gets it

My dad had this twice and recovered both times. We all thought it was a stroke both times because suddenly his face started dropping. I think it’s frightening that a rushed vaccine could have these types of potential consequences. He needed an ointment for his eye to sleep because he couldn’t close it to sleep. Bell’s palsy in itself isn’t deadly or dangerous, but it’s extremely uncomfortable, can be painful and it causes damage to your self esteem and self image. Vaccine injuries are 200% a thing, so are allergic reactions. If people want to be first in line to get this, by all means go for it, but don’t side eye people who are cautious. Once this stuff enters your body it’s there to stay with all the potential not so fun surprises. I wish we had a long term study but we don’t which means people who will be injecting this will be the long term study. Good luck. We’ll need it.

Vaccines can and have caused neurological issues, like BP and Guillain-Barré syndrome.
It’s rare, but it can happen, and nobody wants to be the unlucky one.

This may be a statistically insignificant side effect. This doesn’t mean it’s fake news.

I will add, my own son had a nasty reaction after his MMR, he got the measles rash and the swollen face and pain on his salivary glands from mumps. He also for a full blown case of the chickenpox after his shot, he had it all over, even his balls and penis. If a vaccine that is so well researched and widely administered to million of people can have these effects, I’d be careful with something they just whipped out.

You seem to say that this vaccine was rushed in some way. Can you specifically say what in the vaccine and in it's testing was rushed?

This vaccine is using old research from other diseases to accelerate its production. Normally it would take years to come up with a safe and effective vaccine.
I can’t upload links from my phone for some reason but I’ll copy and paste directly from Mayo Clinic. It says
“ While vaccine development can take years, researchers aren't starting from scratch to develop a COVID-19 vaccine. Past research on SARS and MERS vaccines has identified potential approaches.

Coronaviruses have a spike-like structure on their surface called an S protein. (The spikes create the corona-like, or crown-like, appearance that gives the viruses their name.) The S protein attaches to the surface of human cells. A vaccine that targets this protein might prevent it from binding to human cells and stop the virus from reproducing. However, different vaccine approaches are targeting other SARS-CoV-2 proteins.”

I've had bells palsy twice over the last 4 years, once on the right side of my face and again on the left side. It's not a nice feeling, even as someone who rarely smiles.

The second time was harder, as I tend to chew food on the left side of my mouth. Anything that has even a slight chance of causing this can fuck off, completely.

I'm scared I wouldn't recover a third time.

I’m sorry you had to experience that. I saw it happen to my dad twice as well and it was very difficult for him.

CoVID-19 is a novel strain of the Coronavirus.

Why would they use research from previous diseases?

Sounds like it's going to be worse than the flu vaccine in terms of efficacy.

Well please remind her that there are many people who are grateful for her work which is already difficult, in these extraordinary times.

My doctor told me to get the vaccine when it was available. I'll think about it. Can you get plastic surgery to turn that palsy frown upside down?

Lemme do you a favour:

The FDA briefing documents also show that it is true that there were four cases of Bell’s Palsy among those who received the vaccine (here). Bell’s Palsy is a sudden weakness or freezing of muscles on one side of the face, which in most cases is temporary ( here , here ).

The briefing says that the frequency of Bell’s Palsy in the vaccine group is “consistent with the expected background rate in the general population”, adding there is “no clear basis upon which to conclude a causal relationship at this time”. The FDA said it would, however, recommend “surveillance” for cases of Bell’s Palsy as the vaccine is sent out to larger groups of people.

I don't want to be too harsh but fuck you for creating even more difficulty for the people trying to save lives with this stuff.
