Is there a 64-bit version of Crysis?
Volcynika said:Yep. Steam does not have it though.

You could try going to catalyst control center desktops and displays, right click on your primary monitor > configure > HDTV support and enabling all modes your screen supports. Also check to make sure scaling options is set to 0% overscan.
Why ATi actually made the redesigned CCC even more of a pain in the ass to navigate is beyond me. I really wish you could set a universal overscan setting for all resolutions and not have the bloody default at like 50%.

That should stop any 24HZ issues, including the infamous Crysis 24hz at 1080p bug. I figured this out myself as there is no fix on the net anywhere for it.
Gully State said:Yeah mine's set at 0. It's just weird that it defaults back to 50% when running crysis dx10 at 1920x1080...
is this for windows 7?
Hazaro said:That was a 1.2 patch issue iirc.
I think the 1.21 patch fixed it?

You have a 4850 (like me). How is your card temperature running? With a stock cooler those things run EXTREMELY hot, and I've had mine go over 100C before when I'm not paying attention. If the dust isn't cleaned out you will probably have to have the fan cranked up to some crazy loud level like 60-70% to keep things at 70-80C or lower.Aesius said:I keep having some nasty freezes/crashes while playing Crysis.

I can sometimes play for an hour with great performance, but I will get random freezes where the music loops. Sometimes it will come back to life after about 10 seconds or so, and other times it hard freezes and I have to reboot. It does that completely randomly and will sometimes even freeze while loading a save.
Is that a known issue by any chance? It is frustrating the hell out of me, because the game is quite brilliant IMO and I would love to be able to finish it without getting these damn freezes.

Anyone know what is with my Crysis not displaying the rear tires of the Hummers? It shows the rear tires of pickup trucks...and if I shoot at the rear tires of the Hummer, the rubber will shoot off as normal and suddenly the metal wheel will appear and look the way it's supposed to.
