Cyberpunk 2077: DLSS 4 Patch Out Now

There is 0 benefits to forcing something on the player. What if you just want to cruise around the city? And not listen to Keanu?
What if I don't want to cruise around the city and want every action/quest to happen around the place I start the game? See how non sense is this "forced" logic?

What if I already finished the game and just want to cruise around?

You're being flippant and pedantic. Obtuse and annoying. Stop your dumb hypothetical retorts.

CNN is 1.8% faster with PT and 5.3% faster with custom RT. Overall TF model looks very good, frame gen looks better with it as well.

I do this almost all the time. Johnny is almost never talking or even present with me in the car/bike. This complain about his presence also doesn't sense as I can count maybe in 1 hand the number of times he is with me in the cars. Your complains that are dumb and non sensical.

Well maybe you are lucky, like the other user said, there's nothing wrong with offering players a choice :)

There is nothing wrong in offering options for everything else in the game too. It is non sense.

As this is totally optional, and has zero bearing on anything else in the game, ofcourse it makes sense.

Your retort of "well what if I want to be a giraffe flying around the city and have all the missions start on me", isn't really a good argument.

But whatevs.

Great to hear! Is there an updated DLL in the game folder? Does it work if one drops it into other games via DLSSTweaks maybe?

Makes a world of difference on my 4070Ti. Reduced VRAM with PT on (without mods) makes this a playable experience at 4K w/ DLSS performance. Getting 75FPS with FG and 44 without.

Image quality looks prestine! Almost looks like old quality 4K.

Supposedly because CDPR is now done with the development of Cyberpunk 2077 and all the devs are now working on other projects... :messenger_mr_smith_who_are_you_going_to_call:
Nvidia give them a lot of money to use their game as a tech demo. The people who are still waiting for a PS5 Pro patch to finally buy the game 5 years after release are almost exclusively members of this forum.

The job done on the IQ is top notch. They got rid of all the visual artefacts, aliasing basically disappeared, no more blur everywhere, and it also runs better.

Crazy stuff.

Retard question here: I was told DLSS 4 would work in all games that already supported at least DLSS 2, so, why the "DLSS 4 patch"? Shouldn't it work without any kind of patches?

The new DLSS is included in the patch
But if there was no patch at all, I could still force DLSS 4 via the nvidia panel, right?

So It's just that the patch includes the option for that in-game?

DLSS 4 launches on January 30th, after which you'll be able to force it on. But it's easier to configure in game than having to create a custom profile.

Cool, thanks both you and MMaRsu MMaRsu

In any case, man, if what people are saying about DLSS 4 Performance looking like DLSS 3 Quality then we are in for a treat.

My God, you're by far the most retarded person on the forum. And I mean that objectively, not as a attack.
Less retarded than you on a DLSS 4 thread complaining about no option to remove an insignificant presence of an NPC on a car.

It's fascinating how the DLSS4 transformer model is resolving that scrolling text on the police car from a blurry/ghosting mess to temporally rock stable...
DF posted an interview with a DLSS Nvidia guy and he said that animated screens in particular were things they felt they had to fix.

You don't decide what I find significant. This thread is also about the update. I talk about whatever I want. Don't need your permission.

So apparently you can drop the new dll in games that support DLSS, replace it, and after that activating profile 0x0000000A in nvidia inspector and it works. In every single game

I am gonna try this with FF7 Rebirth tonight

You can now put DLSS 4 transformer upscaling in all games supporting DLSS 2 & 3 with that .dll

From where could I get the .dll? I guess downloading Cyberpunk is an option but I'd rather not download that whole thing again just to grab one file lmao.

I'd like to try DLSS 4 on Dragon's Dogma 2 when I have some time.
