No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
Hot damn, that looks awesome.

Soooooo…. Any rich GAFers getting rid of their 4090 when the 50 series drops? 👀 Remember, charitable donations are tax deductible.

Man, that looks sick. Unfortunately I feel like Ive extracted all the fun there is to be had from this game.

It looks fucking insane graphically, but it kind of loses the aesthetic doesn't it? It looks like you're driving through a typical GTA style urban environment.

Sooo.... nothings changed? Panam crew forever

Yeah Cyberpunk 2077 has a very distinct color and gradient palette and removing those makes the whole world feel bland, ironically. I don't want to play a game that looks like real life, I can just get in my car and drive around if I want to experience that.

Also Panam was always the hotter one, too bad she has the personality of an insufferable 16 year old.

So it's a mod pack where they've ripped car and bike models from racing games and put them into a game with a reshade/ENB and jacked up the generic textures, ahh yes, look how much night city shines as we drive around these vehicles from the 2000s with a New York 2000 license plate and the odd Japanese license plate here and there.

These graphics overhauls are nice but never consistent. Some areas will always look off or glitchy. That's my experience with a few i tried in a couple of games. Last one i used was the one for GTA4 and it was a bit of a mess but looked amazing in certain hours of the day and certain areas.

Exactly, the game in the video looks very realistic, but doesn't feel like Cyberpunk 2077. Whether they did it intentionally or not, CD Projekt created a very distinct look & feel to Night City. Realistic & gritty may not be the best way to describe it, but it still looks incredible, like a graphical achievement, even unmodded.

Every single time i download one of these Enb packs, they look great to take screenshots and make videos. But not as good to actually play the game.

This one seems to be the case. It looks great as tech demo, but it kills the game's art direction.

This, kids. This right here is why some of us love pc and something consoles can never do.

It's fun to tinker with this stuff.

I don't think the unmodded looks very good (I quite quite put my finger on it, but the general style of the game just looks somewhat ugly), but this looks unreal.

I'd be curious to see actual gameplay instead of small racing segments though.

It's funny how the overblown overcast lighting and shaky cam makes things look more "real". The moment they show gameplay in any other scenario the added realism is just gone and it's just a different tonemapping. Personally I don't think CP2077 looks very "realistic" without mods. It has this stylistic look to it that's not all that detailed up close, especially with the characters. It's still technically great, just not the kind of realism these mods seem to strive towards. Mixing in real life car models really just brings out the inherent differences in stylistic design choices and photorealism. Neat technical showcase of what can be achieved, but incongruent with the actual style of the game.

No cause it looks like shit once the initial "ooh pretty" wears off, none of this shit matches the vibe of the game it's just stuff yanked from other games, might as well throw some Call of Duty guns in there too, rip a few more cars from Forza, why not go all out, rip the actors from Death Stranding and throw them in there as random pedestrians too!
Looks worse than some Atari games.

All those cars are modded into the game. The true mod is the lighting., the rest is simply just added for shits and giggles.

It's a nice tech demo but it looks like it's all it is. No npc's or actually gameplay outside driving. Like others have said, it looks like one of those gta videos.

Yeah it looks more realistic, but less appealing. Style counts for something.

Environment and vehicles look great, characters look like matte plastic.
Yeah, a lot of times these overhauls have all kinds of uncanny valley character look.

That said, the mod looks 🔥 but sadly I don’t have a 4090 for it. If I get a 5080 or 5090, I am definitely going to do a new play through with a bunch of mods that came out in the last year or so.

Edit: I really want proper VR for the game, but waiting for a better headset.

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.

Nah, people are missing understanding what mean.
It not uncanny valley, they literally look like matte plastic characters in realistic environments, modless looks better and pick any game with good character models and that looks better.
Whatever the mod is doing works great for environments but the characters its like the detail and shadows have been mattified.

Looks pretty clean but it also looks flat and sterile. The Nissan looks nice but it doesn't really blend well with the environment.
