I think I'm fully on board with the show now after tonight's crazy episode. Dracula (!!!), the naked Pope laying the smackdown on fools ("My bath is ruined!"), the crazy naked one eyed mercenary preparing/pretending to take a shit in the sauna. WTF the entire episode was so ridiculous and over the top...More episodes like this please!

Great episode. This show is crazy. Loved the Pope dishing out a smackdown. I was worried that the Dracula stuff would be cheesy but it was pretty damn cool.
The strangest thing of all was that Laura Haddock actually kept her clothes on for the entire episode.

I don't think that's fair - I thought that it nicely served to establish Lorenzo's renewed relationship with Clarice. It's not like the episode was lacking in the nudity department without that scene anyway.
The ratings didn't "tank". The premiere followed the series finale of Spartacus, so naturally the ratings were pretty big. After that the ratings returned to the normal Starz level.
Yeah, but it could have been shorter.
I can't believe I'm advocating for shortening sex scenes in a Starz series. I am stupid.

Kinda glad my favorite shows (Doctor Who, Arrow, Game of Thrones) from the regular season are closing up shop. I have the episodes of this sitting on my DVR, but I've yet to even watch the premiere. Glad to see it has so much positive buzz and a decent following on GAF.

Just finished Episode 4. The show isn't out of this world amazing, but it does grow on you. It's pretty much in line with a lot of other Starz shows. Entertaining, but ultimately hollow. Still, nothing wrong with good fun.

Well I think I'm done with this show. Feel like it's getting too repetitive and boring. Most episodes Da Vinci just drifts through the episode and finally comes through in the end. Kinda like Dr. House. And I just don't find the characters or story interesting enough to continue.

Dug this ep with its portrayal of Dracula since its a mixture of the historical version of the guy peppered with the fantasy.
