Yes, it supports up to 4K resolutionDoes this natively support resolutions over 1080p? I realize that the assets won't stand up to that kind of resolution.
That's the problem with spoiler tags. Guy you quoted revealed major spoiler. You didnt. You never know what to expect. But the thing is, people shouldnt expect spoilers in a OT.

The posters in the Cold Steel OT apparently do not feel the same way lol. There is more black text than regular on some of the pages I swear.
I think tagged story talk is fine in the OT, but something like Rats Off To Ya's post was reeaally stretching it since it was so unneeded. It wasn't actual discussion.
That thread has been pretty terrible at handling spoilers. From not labeling spoilers to people who have played unlocalized sequels revealing stuff. The posters in the Cold Steel OT apparently do not feel the same way lol. There is more black text than regular on some of the pages I swear.
OS X always seems to be ignored by Japanese studios. I'm not sure why. They ported this to iOS, so it wouldn't have been that hard to use that as the basis for a Mac version. Although it looks like they've pulled the iOS version from the App Store as well? I guess the only way for me to ever play Danganronpa is to pick up a PSTV.
Steamy indeed
A quick question: do you know if the translation is the same as the Vita version or it has been updated?
Wait, why would you have to redo an entire trial? You can save at almost any point. I think the only time you can't is if you get thrown into a mini-game.
Great, thank you.Same
Essentially, if you get water on a vita screen, it tends to act wonky even after you wipe it up. It will continue to act as though you are rapidly tapping the screen, and is only fixable via hardware reset.
does this game offer many routes? like other vn's
going to be playthrough when this comes out on steam!
Oh boy, if you thought the characters/story in 999 were boring and shallow, I honestly wouldn't even bother playing Danganronpa if I were you.
And 999 had plot holes? What? Characters would say too much 'random' stuff? Someone wasn't paying attention or simply didn't understand the story.
One of things that bothered me is that how did zero survive and do all what she's doing if she died as a child, I understand the whole theory that time is flat and she's alive because you saved her because of what she does in the future, still I thought it was pretty bad and makes no sense, especially when she gets saved by some sort of future/past mind connection.
How did zero know, as she was growing up that she had to do what she's done in order to save her self? How is she even capable of what she did? setting up a huge place filled with sophisticated traps and puzzles? What if the receivers solved the puzzles on their own, how is that even measurable in the experiment? It just makes no sense to me.
I also hated how everyone was a scientist, sure they were involved in some kind of experiment, but that doesn't make them scientists, so yes I felt their dialog is random and out of place, I remember when Santa randomly talks about the experiment just for no reason when solving one of the rooms
Anyway this is just my opinion![]()
Danganronpa is one of the best story-driven games on PC. The scarcity of interaction, vast quantities of text, and glacial pace will turn a lot of people off, but the story is so compelling that I barely noticed that all I was doing was clicking through lines of dialogue. Monokuma is a deliciously evil villain and the crimes are brilliantly constructed. Just when you think youve figured them out, youll be blind-sided by some new piece of evidence. If you love adventure games and want to experience something different, Danganronpa is worth investigating.
Glacial pace though? I think it moves forward at a faster pace than most visual novels and detective games do. Unless my points of reference are bad?
Glacial pace? Try Umineko No Naku Koro Ni.
Call me crazy, but I wwould like to see a PS4 port just because I think it would be fun to see such a odd path from handheld game, to PC and then to console.
and then of course experience the vastly superior Danganronpa 2 and Nagito Komaeda.
2 is much much better yes
Hope this does well so 2 gets a port too
Two was confirmed when one was announced along with "other" games.2 is much much better yes

The bigger questions are 3 and AE
glacial pace got me scared for a moment, I can't tolerate that anywhere, including games.
but as I understood from other posts it's not true, or is it?

No. It's fast paced compared to others in the genre and gripping throughout
PC gamer are off their rockers
AE would be cool. I beat it on PSTV but I wouldnt mind replaying with a mouse. Still debating replaying 1, and I know I'll skip 22's port is already beeing worked on:

I'm glad they referred to it as an adventure game
Or PC Gamer doesn't play very many visual novels. I mean, it's PC Gamer, not 3DS Gamer or Vita Gamer.
