NoE: What can you tell us about Dark Samus - like where she comes from and how she fits into the story?

Pacini: Dark Samus was created at the end of Metroid Prime when Samus’ Phazon suit was ripped off and assimilated by the final boss. However, Dark Samus’ true motives are still a mystery.
