I think there is because he was sleeping and the fog gate disappeared when I went back after absolving my sin.
You might be right. They probably improved the net code, but since we have issues with hit boxes it doesn't feel as it actually improved.
But I've been lagstabbed a few times already. Though not as much as in the original Dark Souls. Today playing on the Blue Sentinels arena I was exactly behind a guy and instead of back stabbing him the game just made his character appear in front of me facing me and take a normal hit. I still won the match, but the lag was kind of annoying.
Gandalf is very weak magic-user. In D&D, he'd be 5th level.
Spend this evening bellbroing for hidden weapon, I feel dirty
Why?
I actually think the area (at least Luna, which is the one I have the most experience with) is very well designed so it's pretty fair both for invader and invaded. Sure, sometimes you can team up on the invaded, but this is balanced by only the host having access to healing items. And with the various holes in the grounds there are a lot of opportunities for the host to run away and heal. Since the invader can't heal, one strategy for a patient host is to repeatedly drop down into the area you can only reach by falling to force the invaders to follow and take fall damage that they can't get rid of. One guy/girl I was playing against had this strategy.
And if someone really is having problems with the invasions, there are lots of options. They can burn an effigy, they can summon a phantom or, since the area is so small, they can run to the fog wall before the invader has the time to spawn.

The fight was taking forever with my pure physical build and I ended up dying every time.
So I did respec to a pure faith build and the boss died in... 5 Great Lightning Spear.
Is this a joke?
For fuck's sake, Fromsoft, please re-balance this fucking game. Magic is so OP compared to physical builds. This is not funny :x
They're extremely weak to poison so that makes the whole memories smooth sailing.Oh man, giants are really my kryptonite on this game. I can't get past any of the memories segments. Rocking a drangelic sword+5 and tower shield +4, and Nada

Stone trader? She sell unlimited shards so does McDuff.I'm drowning in Titanite Chunks but have no Large Shards
Stone trader? She sell unlimited shards so does McDuff.
Could've sworn there was an NPC that sells an item which lets you upgrade your Intelligence for 20,000 souls, can't remember who though
Ahh the early game resource plight it's going to be the death of me on my co-op character. Kill old ironclads for large titanite shards they drop lots of them, strike damage is their weakness.I think I haven't gotten far enough in the game yet. Stone trader only sells ordinary Shards (or rather sold, she is out of stock now) and McDuff doesn't sell me anything. Only rambles. Someone had left a "Weakness: Head" message nearby him and I found it very accurate.

Well if you want to call them that yes they are. Thanks! Are those the fatties in the Forest of Giants?

Taken from the stream of my first Dark Souls 2 playthrough. Here is Episode 1 of a video series that will showcase all of my deaths.
Dark Souls 2 - So, This Is How We Died. Episode 1
Sit back, relax, and please excuse the cursing.

Dual kats are god-tier...BTW, is dual katanas really worth it for PVP? i never seen anyone using, and that's what i'm using now.
I've just made innuendos all over the place.Don't blame me that's what all the messages call them!
make sure to plow ahead and find what mcduff is mumbling about....his weakness is his head for sure but there is a cure and he spells it out for you. I didn't rest until I found that friggin thing and then eventually went back to all the optional bosses I left behind with proper weaponry. You are on the right track if you found Chloanne. Onlybetween her and the prize!!!!1 level two bosses

As for PvP:
?
You don't even go that far into iron keep it's a short trip really. Unless you die of course.I think I havebut I didn't feel like going through the area after that. Guess I should make that a priority then. Thanks!beaten the two bosses you are talking about
Trying to git gud on PVP today i ended up receiving my first hate message ever. lol That was fun, specially because he was that type of guy that played dirty. The dude's pretty fast too, cause he sent me a "fuck you" like 2 seconds after i killed him.
BTW, is dual katanas bad for PVP or something? i never seen anyone using, and that's what i'm using now.
Yep figuring out which items are worth the struggle in that area is still hard ...but you are close!!! Hahahaha on the messages......no one get's/(or perhaps they think its TOO dirty) my extremely dirty message:I think I havebut I didn't feel like going through the area after that. I'm not clever enough to come up with good innuendo messages that haven't already been done to death
I had a legit draw in PvP today. I grey spirit invaded a guy in really heavy armor in the Luna Belltower. He was an asshole that tried to hide behind my spawn point to get a backstab off immediately and he was lag hitting me all over the place. The fight ended with us trading blows that killed each other. While I wasn't credited with a win, I feel I somehow got the moral victory.

Doubt I'll have the patience to beat thewith the massive gap between him and the nearest bonfire. Could do with thatAncient DragonthoughSoul of a Giant
Are you kidding? It is revealed at the end of the third book that Gandalf has one of the 3 rings of power given to the elves. He's a level 800 sorcerer with 50 casts of CSS
I used the same tactic, it was a very underwhelming fight.
Just bonfire acetic the Black Gulch and farm a second from the set of two giants in that level. The only remaining enemies on that level are the dark pool worms (which you can kill easily with a fire arrow for a distance to each of their little pools) and the large worms that come out of those two holes. And, the boss.

I pumped my agility to 110 to see what happens. Holy crap, I am untouchable now.
Also that estus chugging speed. I wonder if I can go back to 85 agility now that I got used to this.
Other than that, I payed Vendrick a visit.
This fight is going to take a while.
I'm doing a crap amount of damage so the battle lasts forever.
I can dodge all his attacks but I always end up loosing my focus and get greedy.
You mean you don't multi task? I put that same message down myself I thought it was tame.Hahahaha on the messages......no one get's/(or perhaps they think its TOO dirty) my extremely dirty message:
try chest and then be wary of projectile.....guess I need to lay off the porn in between boss runs.
It is a shame but more worth it when you get a nice long one with the endurance to last?I'm not clever enough to come up with good innuendo messages that haven't already been done to death

Sigh, tell me about it. I tried dual-wielding two greatswords because of dat damage, but why bother when people can stunlock you with something faster and deal as much if not more damage before you manage to roll away. The only reason to dual anything in PvP is only if the power stancing moveset adds something substantial for usage.
Soul of Giants makes his health/def nonexistent. Stay around his left leg, and he can't ever touch you with his sword.
Question, Ruler's Sword, or King's Ultra Greatsword?
What? I already consumed 3 of souls of giants. Woes me, never occured to me that they could be useful.

So I finally beat the game, level 160. Is there any good places to do sunbro bosses at this level? Or should I bite the bullet and do NG+?
