Use the effigies to become human, you do not burn them
I suggest to be strong, I clicked the stream and videos a few times just to check out the animations, lighting, overall level structure / look, other things the people seem to be already complaining about. Was hoping I could just watch for a few minutes while the player was fighting some random trash mobs, but with my luck every time I seemed to catch some boss or cool environment that would have made my jaw drop if I would have just waited to discover and see it myself while playing. Spoiled a few bosses I didn't know about and a couple amazing or interesting looking places. Thankfully it's only like 3 days away so fighting the urge to click shouldn't be too painful a wait. unless you're waiting for PC, then God help you.

Starting to get anxious, it's Friday and my Amazon order of the Black Armor edition still says "Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you by email as soon as we have an estimated delivery date." However the CE lists March 11 as it's date, maybe I should pony up the extra dough and buy that instead....
so you can summon while at the boss door without the need to do the level again? It also gives a massive hp boost depending on your undead level. So you can chunk one if you see a particular hard mob.

I mean, I understand the benefits it brings, but I wonder if there's anything in particular about Dark Souls II that made them think it wasn't viable to make you go back to the bonfire in order to restore your humanity.

I could understand this if someone had not played Demon's. But like someone else posted earlier about this game reminding them of Demon's, Dark and King's Field? That just seems slightly redundant to me. Demon's hit pretty hard with the King's Field ancestry and nostalgia.

Exactly. I don't understand what must be wrong with you dudes that you'd spoil something you've been waiting ages for. All I've seen are like a couple quick glimpses of early areas from more official or otherwise less spoilery videos and I wish I hadn't even seen those.

So for us avoiding spoilers, let's talk turkey. What ya gonna BE on tuesday? I took these gifs from a character creation demo video on youtube. It's worth noting that no one starts with any rings, except for the explorer, who has some kind of ring on.
Figured I'd show these one more time for the non-middle of the night crowd, because they're sorta fun for those of us who are unspoilered.
Either going Bandit or Cleric, myself. Or maybe Warrior. I realize Warrior isn't as optimized for min-max, but I'm not sure yet if I want to dabble in some faith stuff, or maybe even some magic stuff, so the Warrior presents a decent compromise for one in such a position.

I don't really give a shit about the PvE anyway. I'm just stacking ammo for when i get my hands on the game and make my PvP build.
The single player will be ez regardless.
