This is the reason you don't do double-click in action games. It forces you to explicitly add input latency, because you have to give the player some time to do the second click. Even if you unbind all the double click commands there's still built in latency for the mouse buttons :| which is why you can't do the jump attack, the timing is totally off. And there are even more issues on top of that, what a bummer.
It helps none. DS4Tool is spyware. It doesn't work. I've tried it all, everything posted here.
This is the only game this issue is in, even DS1 works =/

It is a Souls way of implementing a hard mode for the game. It isn't as hard as ng+ but it is notably harder. It is only the one covenant, not al.

Okay now I'm pissed off, I was calm at first but I tried all possible suggestions:
1.Re-Downloaded the game
2. Tried 3 new drivers:335.23,334.89 and of course 337.50
3.Run in administrator mode,run in 640x480 resolution, disable desktop composition,disable display scaling on high DPI settings.
4.Disable SLI
5.Try changing my DVI to a different port on my graphic card(s)
6.Check Integrity
7.Swear at my screen when the "Dark Souls II is not responding" error message pops up.
Then I did this and boy was it painful as it took a while, I played every single steam game I have Installed,Origin, UPlay, MMO(Guild Wars 2,SWOR,FFXIV) etc to see if there is something wrong.
I can say this they all bloody work perfectly, I mean Dark Souls runs great and looks amazing.(DSFIX)
Conclusion: FUCK YOU FROM AND NAMCO,I tried everything possible, if there is no patch or solution soon, I'm requesting my money back.(Greenman gaming is more difficult then steam)
Even BF4 which was a broken mess at launch and still has issues today at least could be booted up and played for crying out loud.

I thought it was permanent. Sorry for being a newb. Given this game's design it surprises me From Software didn't punish me.

Have you tried forcing the scaling to GPU rather than display through drivers?
You realise that DS4 tool is open source right? If it were spyware it would be seen in the code by anyone who chose to look at it. Stop spouting nonsense.
I believe you can rebind or set it back to DS1's standard - Double press Circle (B)

I still can't play online. I was able to earlier, but now the game refuses to connect to the server.

Haha, i dont really like the mouse and keyboard controls either, but im used to it now so it's okay.
Been loving the game so far. Haven't had any issues.
Have you tried restarting? I had the method in that article not work for me a few times. Make sure the X360CE reads all your inputs before booting the game.
Have a few questions if anyone is willing to answer...
1. How can I place items from inventory on play screen to use them quickly, such as health?
2. Why is my face looking zombie-ish after a bit? It's looking worse and worse, lol. Any
negative effects of this?
3. I summoned someone earlier. Wtf is this? All I know is that they were helping me in battle.

Reading around it seems like a lot of people are having trouble connecting to the server if they've received a VAC ban in the past for another game (temporary or otherwise) which doesn't help me since I've never received a VAC ban, to my knowledge.

Heres a tip guys for a later area:

1. Start > Equipment > Go to the bottom 2 rows and put what you want there. Then use down on the D-Pad to cycle through.
2. You are going hollow. Every time you die, your health decreases down to a maximum of 50%. To rectify, you need a Human Effigy.
3. Summoning and being Invaded is a big part of Dark Souls. You summon someone, they help you. You get invaded, then put up your dukes.
I have no intentions of doing such a thing, lol. If I could sneak around and hide in the shadows, I would. I'm scared shitless as to what is around the corner

Did I just try to push it too much, it's capping at 30fps when I use GeDoSaTo and basically pushed everything to it's highest values at 3840x2160 downsampled to 2560x1440?
After playing on consoles, 60fps is sooo jarring...I love it
