Use your playstation controller if you want to play it on Steam.

Get it on Steam and use your PS4 controller.

If you're pc is more powerful than your PS4 go with the PC version no doubt. If the pc is more powerful than you PS4 you go get yourself an Xbox one controller and revel in all that awesome of how much better things are with the controller.

I think knights start with a longsword, which is the same longsword you're used to.

I just happen to think the broadsword is really boss now that arts are in. you can pick one up in the first area if you look around (the first area post-firelink).

I had the same issue, but if you search around the bonfire in The Crossing right before you get to your house you should be able to find a hidden path that'll take you to the Jultukå Undercity, which is where you'll get the Hearth Key.

Odds are low, they have a tendency to say that something's ready to pick up when it's not. (Especially with street dated games) You can try it, but odds are they'll say you can't get it til tomorrow.

Never quite got why this part of Dark Souls became so famous for being hard. I always thought the hollows before the gargoyles were much more annoying.
