Maybe you just haven't seen a really high quality, well-done boob job.

Or maybe we just have different tastes. It happens.

Different strokes for different blokes.

Tits are a nice bonus, but boob size really doesn't matter to me. I'd pick a hot chick with a nice turd cutter over a hot chick with big tits, any day.

I don't understand how some people can lose interest in a girl because she doesn't have big enough boobs for their liking.

Again, not about size.

Firmness and perkiness.

And it didn't make me lose interest. I'm still going to call her. I just walk away thinking 'oh god, one operation away from perfection'.

Again, same thing for crooked teeth.

Well, personally I wouldn't really compare braces to a breast implantation procedure. But, here's not really the place for that particular discussion. If someone wants to make a new thread with that as a topic it might get some interesting replies. lol

Eh, I guess I could understand that breasts are an important factor. I've always been more attracted to girls with pretty faces, that's my thang if I were to say I have one.

Hey, you can't change what you like though, and I don't think other people really care if you're with a woman who is taller, and if they do, fuck em'.

I am attracted to women that are taller than me. Is this unusual?

How tall are you?

I mean there's nothing wrong with it, but I would say it qualifies as unusual only as most guys tend to like shorter girls and vica versa but it happens.

I asked my girl about this and it was mostly she wanted to not be taller in heels, but i think there might be a biological reason too

Not to say it can't be overcome of course

Yeah, I guess so. I am probably overthinking it.

I am 5 foot 8, so not short by any means. I shouldn't look like a dwarf next to a taller woman, at least.

And yes, I do believe women naturally choose taller partners, because they see the man as protector.

I don't need a tall partner really. It'd be nice, though.

Don't worry Empower, you're good. You probably have no idea how many of thousands of dudes like that same thing. Also, if you're 5' 8" you probably don't even look noticeably shorter. Don't worry about it man.

Why? They're both parts of the body that are altered for the sake of vanity 90% of the time and for health 10% of the time.

How long do we have until society looks at breast augmentation in the same super casual, and even encouraging manner we look at nose jobs and braces for teeth?

Cause I met pretty much the perfect woman yesterday, but her 34Cs were... eh. A pair of taught, firm, implants and she's a hard 10.

I presume you have a perfect body then?

And do we look at nose jobs and braces in the same way? One is plastic surgery and the other is, you know, not.

Tell me the difference.

Listen, I have nothing against it, I just know that there is an inherent difference between the two. One is for correcting teeth, usually so that they don't look abnormal or function abnormally, whilst the other involves changing a part of yourself that doesn't need to be changed, nor does it have any benefits of making said person healthier.

The vast majority of orthodontistry is not done with medical reasons in mind. I had braces. The look you deem 'normal' is one that has only been deemed such in the last 100 years thanks to medical/dentistry advances.

You don't need straight teeth for your teeth to work. We prefer straight teeth because they fall in line with an ideal.

Nope. And I never said I demanded perfection.

Like I said, I'm going to call her. I was just pontificating.

As for braces vs plastic surgery, they are both altering the body for the sake of vanity, in accordance with society's image of ideal beauty.

Not always. There are far, far more cases of braces used to correct future health problems when compared to breast augmentations. They both may be vanity though to some extent, but it's still not an apt comparison.

Well obviously more braces are done for medical purposes than breast enhancements.

But that's still a very small percentage of the total orthodontistry done in the world.

In my mind, the only big reason people separate the two is because breasts bring certain cultural associations with them, while teeth are essentially neutral territory.

Then why does she need a boob job?

And you do realise one of them requires general anaesthetic which makes it an inherently risky procedure. Never heard of anyone dying getting braces...

She doesn't need a boob job.

I think she would look better with one.

I don't need a six-pack to be an attractive human being. I would be more attractive if I had [a more visible] one.

I wonder what the total number of deaths under anesthetic come from boob operations....

Hahahaha. This is a serious post.

I don't know what others got braces for but I got them to help realign my bite and keep some teeth from overlapping since my mouth is so small.

But this is a case where not all people find the look of large fake breasts to be attractive where as I would hope the vast majority of humankind like the look of well maintained and good looking teeth, and also in a non-sexual manner. Also, teeth are functioning parts of the body where misshapen-ness or bad spacing can cause harm, I think.

Plus, even when comparing the two, there are ideal teeth, but there are definitely not ideal breasts. I mean, there may be to you in what you look for in a woman, or to the woman herself, but there's not really a solid, clear idea as to what is "best" because there is no such thing as "best" size of breast.

Yes bad spacing of teeth can put undue pressure on your gums. Also overlapping teeth are more prone to cavities. And a bad bite alignment can lead to headaches.

Do you need surgery to get a six pack?

I don't think he's really coming off as a "douche," I just don't really agree with his views. I think that even from a purely cosmetic perspective, having braces and getting breast implants are two completely different ends of the spectrum.

As for breast size, I guess that's important to a lot of guys, I just never really felt that it ever detracted from a girls attractiveness to me if they weren't large. Not to mention you can't just lump all women into one look or body-type, everyone has their own style and look.

Lawd this whole conversation.

Also, nothing against women who do it, but I looked into breast surgery for other reasons and the way they do it... Ewewewew no no no. I could not. Dropped that idea immediately.

No, shouting off what you think is the absolute truth (whether you're correct or not) and dominating/derailing a discussion is rarely a good look. When you're not right, its even less of a good look.

Honestly who are these pimp GAFers who have their choice of breast size? There's a whole meta-thread here because people have trouble getting just one girlfriend.

Again, nobody is disqualifying girls based on breast-size.

I just walked away from an encounter with a passing thought that if a girl could hypothetically replace her natural 34Cs with fake 34Cs, the added firmness would benefit her.

I'm a butt and leg guy. I've had girlfriends with Bs and had no problem with them. In fact I actively talked one girl OUT Of breast implants because her bs, while small, were perky and firm, and looked great.

I don't recall shouting off that anything was absolute truth. I stated my belief and have been more than happy to discuss it since.

Coming into a conversation with a personal attack however, would land the douche label most deservedly. :)

He's not really shouting or dominating the thread though. I mean he's replying to people who ask him stuff or say something, but it's not like he's spewing venom at people. He's just stating an opinion, one that's obviously unpopular. Whenever a hot topic like this comes up, it's always going to "derail" a thread, because everyone and their brother have an opinion on stuff like this.

Plus, threads can't ever derail anyway. Obviously, if someone is being disruptive or rude, then they can be removed/banned, but that's not the case here. Not to mention people are responding with actual substance as well. It's just another part of the conversation.

You've done it before and you're doing it now.

The fuck are these numbers?

And then you want to keep going on about it... okay. Good stuff right? Dating-age thread about people who need help getting a date is now about boobs and the perfect pair.

Its not a personal attack. Its calling it what it is.

Why not use a better comparison then? How about penis enlargement surgery?

And I didn't say there was anything wrong with it - you said she wasn't good enough without it ("her 34Cs were...eh")

I said she was gorgeous in every other respect.

I wasn't discount her attractiveness as a woman, I was stating a thought about one particular part of her body.

Fine, we'll use penis enlargement.

No different than if a woman said 'I really love this guy's body, but his dick wasn't too big'. Doesn't mean that's going to disqualify the guy outright, just that one part didn't rock her world.
