Dawn Wells, Mary Ann on ‘Gilligan’s Island,’ dies of Covid-19 complications at 82 | CNN

Dawn Wells, who played the lovable castaway Mary Ann Summers on “Gilligan’s Island,” died in Los Angeles on Wednesday from Covid-19 complications, her publicist Harlan Boll confirmed to CNN.

Always was torn over the eternal "Mary Ann or Ginger?" question. Redheads fucking rule, but Mary Ann was just the cutest, sexiest girl ever. Looking at recent pix of each actress, Mary Ann was still cute AF to the end, whereas Ginger is kinda scary looking. Anyways, RIP Dawn Wells, you did a great job with Mary Ann!

Ginger was a mega sloot on the show and irl..Bob Denver used to mention how shed be getting pounded nightly by new dudes in her dressing room.....she also went down the horrible plastic surgery path later in life. Marianne was the cute farmers girl and was more sensible...im sure she had work here and there but she went pretty natural in her old age.

LOL, you don't have to be a boomer to know Gilligan's Island. It was on US TV all the time throughout the 1990s, along with a bunch of other classics from the 1950s-60s: I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Jeannie, etc. I grew up on that retro stuff.
