Days Gone 2 teased by Bend?

I don't know why some people take this statement of reality as offensive. 🤷

Doom85 Doom85 You brought up an example involving a thief, not a fighter in a ring. You only reply to arguments you create yourself to win to spread THE MESSAGE. I'm not engaging with you.

-Yep, Uncharted, the series with magic undead monstrosities as canon, and a single guy can outgun thousands of other mercs through his while career, is a shining example of reality.

Hey, here's a dose of reality for you: Nathan Drake would DIE in reality. He would DIE. No happy ending, no spending life at peace with his family, that many bullets throughout all those fights would mean one will inevitably hit him where it counts. That's actual reality right there, I just don't pick and choose reality to focus solely on only insulting female characters.

And Deacon? He'd be torn to shreds by the first horde surpassing 100 if he engaged them the way the game has you do so.

-Then don't actually engage instead of attacking me directly. You can just ignore me if you can't handle having a debate (which you clearly can't since you resorted to an ad hominem already).

(also acts like a woman beating a thief is irrelevant, yet earlier in the same post says, "what about a fit woman against a regular man?" Consistency!)

gimme:
  • procedural gore/deformation (if i hit a vital organ, maybe they bleed out over time)
  • blood physics
  • crazier hordes
  • more traps (doesnt have to be explosive or elaborate... let me trip a bunch of zombie so they fall down a hill)
  • weapon ballistics
  • weather system
  • mud
  • cool stealth ai & camouflage
  • more wildlife... you know, wandering around, getting into trouble
  • and uh, let me go zombie mushing... like dog mushing, but with zombies.

Days Gone reveal trailer: "Looks generic as hell. Eh, it might be good."

Days Gone release: "Yeah, this game is generic as hell. Probably won't finish it."

Days Gone sequel tease: "Meh. What's for lunch?"

PlayStation Playmakers is only a PlayStation marketing campaign where they invite celebrities and make an ad. No new game or DLC involved.

It says so right in the tweet. Makes me wonder if some of the people replying here actually read it.

Yes, I don't know why people doesn't read.

That tweet had nothing to do with a new Days Gone new game or DLC tease. It was to announce that in their PlayStation Playmakers marketing campaign where they use celebrities to make an ad, this time they where going to feature her.

It doesn't mean she will appear in any game or dlc, or anything like that. It only meant she was going to appear in the marketing campaign.

All new Sony games must receive a 99.69% Metascore or otherwise they're SACKED. Now pair that with some leftist journos who are still going to be butthurt about the white male protagonist and the shotgun wedding = recipe for disaster.

Do you understand how weird this reads?
To be fair zombies aren't usually treated as fantasy/supernatural creatures in popculture (like vampires or werewolves). In fact I would say that many people believe the scenario may happen if the military or some evil corp manage to create their own real world version of a T-virus.

IMHO, Days Gone for PC is the best Sony game in years. Loved every aspect of it. Super underrated. I really do not get how people prefer Horizon or Arthritic Dad of War

Your v
A man is physically powerful, a woman isn't. Even the most talented woman fighter gets destroyed by the most mediocre of mediocre male fighters. It's stupid to look at a woman in a fighting scene without some sort of power multiplier to even the scales, it's so retarded it breaks immersion.

I'm sorry that biological reality triggers you so much, but I've had enough of that stupidity. Again, you can continue consuming product, not making questions and waiting for next product, no one is stopping you.
Your views on this, matches mine. What's messed up is there are some that say you can't get a woman having this view. It's bs. Young sjw idpol viewpoint from an indoctrinated generation. So sick and tired of it. I will not get days gone 2 if this is the lead. Just like no uncharted without Nathan drake, no metroid without Samus, no tomb raider without Lara croft, etc..

How many women bikers have you seen in real life?
What the fuck does that have to do with anything?

How many aliens have you seen in real life? How many robot dinosaurs? How many fungus zombies? How many space pirates? And even then, the answer to your question is "more than zero," so it's already more realistic in that respect than pretty much every single game ever released, if that's going to be your only metric.

Stop pretending that this is anything other than you having a problem with women.

Weirdo.
This, but unironically
You too then.

Let's take a quick look at the Sony showcase:
  • Alan Wake II – Male and Female leads
  • Arizona Sunshine II – Male lead
  • Assassin's Creed Mirage – Male lead
  • Beat Saber: Queen Music Pack DLC – Protagonist is as female or as male as you are
  • Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean – I dunno, the cat seems kinda modelled on Jack Sparrow, so I'm gonna go with male on this one.
  • Concord – MP FPS, pick your gender and pretend to be whatever gets you hard.
  • Crossfire: Sierra Squad – Male lead?
  • Destiny 2: The Final Shape DLC – Pick a gender, although the big draw here is the return of Cayde, a boybot, so that should make you a little comfortable.
  • Dragon's Dogma II – Presumably a customisable protagonist, although even then the trailer has a male lead
  • Fairgame$ – MP, pick a character, pick a gender - again, you're safe!
  • Final Fantasy XVI – Male lead
  • Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 – Male lead, I think?
  • Foamstars – MP FPS, there'll be a roster of male and female characters I'm sure. Pick whatever floats your boat.
  • Ghostrunner 2 – Trailer looked like a boybot to me
  • Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Male lead, I think?
  • Helldivers II – Coop shooter, be who you want to be, although there's no shortage of Brave Strong Males realistically shooting aliens here.
  • Immortals of Aveum – Male lead
  • Marathon – Pick a gender, you'll get to play as a Male lead
  • Marvel's Spider-Man 2 – Two leads, BOTH Male!
  • Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater (Remake of MGS III) – The Malest of leads
  • Neva – The FIRST (and - spoiler alert - ONLY) Female-only lead of the list!
  • Phantom Blade Zero – Male lead
  • Resident Evil 4 VR MODE – Male lead
  • Revenant Hill – You play a cat, gender undetermined. Pretend it's a boy cat if that helps sooth your troubled soul.
  • Street Fighter 6 – 7 female characters, 12 male - spoiled for choice either way, really, but certainly not female dominated
  • Sword of the Sea – Leads seem deliberately gender neutral, so go with your gut.
  • Synapse – Lead's gender unrevealed, probably indeterminate given it's a FPS VR game.
  • Teardown – Pretend to be whatever gender you want
  • The Plucky Squire – Male lead
  • The Talos Principle II – Robot lead
  • Tower of Fantasy – A whole range of sexualised female leads, but don't worry - you can still play as a male
  • Towers of Aghasba – Couldn't tell from the trailer, so I'm gonna go with gender neutral. Pretend it's whatever you want
  • Ultros – Protag looked more male than female to me, but let's go with neutral again.
So... of that entire Playstation Showcase, there is exactly ONE game that forces you to play as a female.

ONE!

So when you whiny fucken crybabies get all antsy about "strong women" being "unrealistic," yet have no problem with the escapist fantasies that this entire fucking hobby is built upon, it becomes pretty damn clear to everyone watching that your problem isn't that strong women are "unrealistic," it's that they exist at all.

When you complain that women in games are outnumbering the men, despite the very obvious and objectively clear metric showing exactly the opposite, it's just as clear that you hate the fact that women are represented at all.

When you try to justify your misogyny with the claims that "tiny women" can't beat up big, strong men, yet complain even louder about a realistically physically strong woman like Abby in TLoU 2, you show to one and all that you are threatened by the women who dominate your life, not by the outliers represented in your hobby.

Play the games. Don't play the games. Whatever the fuck you want to do. Just don't pretend that your anger is noble, rational or justified. It isn't.

So you are unable to answer my question. You then try to insult me despite knowing nothing about me. Yet somehow I'm the angry one.

Days gone is set in the real world. Yes there are zombies and civilization has collapsed.
But it is mostly based on modern day society.

The first game had a male protagonist. He was a biker in a biker gang. Hence why my question is relevant.

Edit: maybe Australia is loaded with female bikers. I've never seen a female biker riding solo in the states. Only when a male is driving and the woman is sitting behind them.

What's wrong with it? Take out the zombies and broken civilization and what's different from the real world?

Is the game on earth? Are the characters human? Do the laws of nature function the same?
So why would the women suddenly change?

I did answer your question. Why am I not surprised that your reading comprehension is subpar?

While you're looking for it, read the rest of what I wrote as well.
"Women bikers" are not your problem.
Women are.
Just because everyone in your Andrew Tate Discord agrees with you doesn't make your reasoning is the least bit logical.

I would love to see a sequel to Days Gone.
I never played it on the PS4, if I'm honest I think it's because of the stamp of mediocrity the game received after launch. But when I got the PS5 and saw it was included in the PS Plus Collection I decided to give it a shot and am glad that I did. I can honestly say it's one of my favorite first party games from the PS4 era, something about it just hooked me.

This was one of the best games I played in 2019. It kind of pissed me off a lot too. Like I remember my motorcycle taken so much damage, I couldn't even get five minutes peace to do repairs as something or somebody would come at me.

With all the different types of freaks they introduced, this could have made an excellent franchise like The Last of Us.

I thought the game had really amazing graphics, and the story was engaging from when it starts to when it finishes. So fuck Sony for saying, or implying at least, that it flopped.

Oh yeah, we need devs bold enough to cast Brave Strong Woman #4567 in a game. To me it's very close to a red flag nowadays if I see a woman or a poc as the main character in a game or movie from a western studio.

I think it might be time to get out of the mancave for a day or two there champ

For a reason I don't even know, I always dodged Days Gone. Fast forward to yesterday, where I decided to give it a try and holy shit, this game is freaking awesome. Runs so damn good on PS5, and Deacon is a pretty good character.

I'm pretty damn impressed.

If you only just started yesterday and already like it, then you're in for a surprise because generally the beginning pacing is considered the worst part of the entire game. It only gets better.

Days Gone is far too much of a straight white male franchise for current day Sony to invest in.
Yet they did invest in it, upgraded it gloriously for PS5 and even released it for PC.
This game had a hate campaign on it (par for the course for PS exclusives since '06) that actually stuck.
