i wonder if dc fanboys would be as salty about race-swapping as some marvel dorks online.
because i was thinking michael b jordan would be an awesome dick grayson tbh. i wonder if he'd even be considered/agree to it considering his last comic book effort and the amount of shit he got for it. but if they ever start casting for that part i seriously think he should be on that shortlist.
enchantress logo is the best. haha these are all so tacky but so fitting to their style.
I think DC fans would overall might be more accepting of it. DC I believe has embraced their multiverse far more then Marvel has outside of Spider-man section of Marvel. The Crisis events at DC have multiple versions of characters (different ethnicities, genders) that might show up. It wouldn't be anything new. The more minor the character is the easier it is to make changes and go with that change as the primary. If it's a bigger character you just have to do it and push through with it and make sure the depiction is good. Like when they changed the West family on the Flash. What the TV show did was really good when it came to actors, story, etc. The comics on the other dropped the ball badly from what I can tell and that was why there was considerable push back. You can't make the change and push out crap story wise. The characters still have to be written well regardless of their gender and skin color. Kaldur/Aqualad on Young Justice was really popular and one of the best characters on the show. Granted he was new but he did take the name Aqualad from Garth/Tempest and in that universe Garth never became Aqualad.
Now I think some people that will complain and moan about it no matter what and more so if it's not down well. However from what I've seen in some places like comicbookresources when it comes to some of those people their issue at times could be something far darker. In that case to hell with them.
The films and live action tv shows have always been very different from the comics anyway. Perry being black in MoS/BvS as said above. Changes to Aquaman. So it would be par for the course for a lot of people if they decided to make Dick Grayson for example black. They've already made that change on the Wally West level like I said too.
