Nobody cares cause Dead or Alive was always like this since Dead or Alive 2 and this is also their spin of game which is made with this in mind and everybody knows this.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 has the worst achievements ever...
So far it's only been announced for Japan and Asia. Western release is possible (no legislation that would prevent it) but it's unlikely. Hayashi didn't seem that hopeful about a western release. Asian version will have English subtitles.

Here is the thing at some point as a creator you have to just put your foot down and stick to a vision. Nothing will ever appease all audiences so you just pick what audience your making something for and stick to one vision.
That being said this is entirely open to criticism as any piece of media is but I don't think the idea of making media aimed directly at a specific audience is a bad thing at all. At least that audience is getting what they want out of it unlike so many design by committee games that come out try to appease everyone and fail miserably at it.

Looking like quite the agreeable visual improvement over previous, although those less predictable minigames like tug-of-war were not much fun to play. Looking forward to localization news/pre-orders. In the meantime still revisiting DOAP and DOAX2 every once in a while. Rio being a highlight of the former, jetski racing a personal favorite in the latter.
