It's 'up', but it comes up with an error when you go to purchase. I've downloaded the trial and it seems fun. Framerate is a bit choppy when there are lots of zombies on but fun nonetheless. That said, I will miss Frank's shin kicks. :lol
Played the demo feels like dead rising that is a good thing I guess. The demo did make me wanna put in the first Dead Rising now and finally finish it up.
here is the intro video for people who can't play right now i'm encoding random bits of gameplay that i'll upload soon too
game is a lot of fun.. if you liked DR you'll probably love this. I still need to go through and get an A ending :lol i've found 4 weapon combos so far

I believe you have 25 in-game hours. not sure how long this is in actual time but i have already gotten quite a bit of playing time out of it. you have 3 saves too so you could create a save after the first part
right after you initiate case 0 by getting meds from ambulance
you do get it, but i don't think you can build it yourself in the demo
.. it is awesome btw :lol

1. go into the theatre and out the back exit and you'll find the motor
2. you need to get the key from the inn/hotel? to open the shack next the the pawn shop
also these two are tips from the pawn guy so don't waste your money buying tips from him.. no idea where the other 3 are though
Loving it so far. Different engine makes it feel fresh, while still being nothing more than more Dead Rising.
Two technical issues though. The shadows look horrendous and the frame rate goes down whenever you look at a larger crowd of zombies. Considering the PC version for DR2 now.
Going through some of the data we've got from videos and combining it with logic, here are the weapons you should be able to create in Case Zero: -
Beam Katana - Gems + Flashlight [Unconfirmed]
Beer Hat - Beer + Construction Hat [Unconfirmed]
BoomStick - Pitchfork + Shotgun [Confirmed]
Kill Jed to get card
Drill Bucket - Bucket + Drill [Confirmed]
Spiked Bat - Baseball Bat + Box of Nails [Confirmed]
Electric Rake - Battery + Leaf Rake [Unconfirmed]
I.E.D. - Gasoline Canister + Box of Nails [Confirmed]
RARER ITEM LOCATIONS: Battery Available from
behind the Still Creek theatre complex
Gems After rescuing
Gemini
accept her side quest and
find them at the end of the roadblock
Pretty much, I'm sure these items are in Case Zero and as such I cannot write "Confirmed" until someone actually makes it. So yeah, any help to confirm these would be great. =)
Was playing this when the Vanquish demo finished... and it kicked me back to the start screen. Thankfully, I had just saved, but it was really odd. I had full health and no zombies even nearby, so it wasn't sudden death or anything.
You can't combine the flashlight, so it has to be something else. I've found two spray canisters, one green and one purple, but I'm not sure what to combine it with. Perhaps a lighter or something like that. Pretty crazy how much juice you can get out of 400 points.
Yup this is Dead Rising which it nothing but a good thing. Fixed the loading though before full retail release.
Oh yea pro tip just like real life a beer and whiskey mix is bad idea in general. :lol

That sounds about right. I was careless and didn't save and died a couple times and had to start over so it lasted me quite a bit longer... :lol
I know of two but have only gotten one so far.

getting the key requires a bit of platforming to get into the second floor, had me stumped for a while.
Obviously the wheel can be bought for 5k in the pawn shop.
Handlebars are being held by 2 dudes behind the grocery store in return for a broadsword from the Hunting shop which can again only be accessed by the roof and I couldn't find a way up before I turned it off to make some food
Really enjoying it which surprises me because I thought DR1 was dull. Maybe it's due to it being concentrated in one small area, idk. Frame rate is killing me though, its really bad
Not usually one to complain but general gameplay feels far slower than DR1. Chuck feels and moves more like a tank and the frame rate is often brought to a slide-show (especially when viewing fire effects).
Is this really using MT framework??
Also why cant i use/throw stuff in certain places or safe zones, or was this the same deal in DR1? cant really remember tbh :s.
Well i bought it anyway, its a low asking price and i support that. Currently got the game on pre order for 360 but considering switching the order to PC... Hmmmm.

I'm fucking loving this. Most definitely feels like a Dead Rising game. Already Chuck is a great character and worthy of the title! I'm excited to play the full game. For 5 bucks you really can't go wrong, will definitely be getting this.
