If you're an achievement whore, there's obvious reasons why there. Also, levelling up in Case Zero allows you to unlock new things in Dead Rising 2 as well as carry all your stats over.

Is it true that there is no difference between the trial and full version other than achievements and the ability to import the save file?

So the full game has the same broken save system as the first game?

Did they learn nothing in 4 years?

How exactly is it broken?, a pain in the arse sure but it's hardly broken.

They learned the only lesson that they needed to: "Don't listen to people like bomb_jack."

they didnt change it? that's awesome if true.

I'm fairly certain it's been tweaked a bit to make it a bit more "Western friendly" or something. But it's largely still the same.

.

You either "get" Dead Rising or you don't.

The only difference is that there are now 3 save slots, instead of one.

Small change with a big impact.

Oh, that sucks.

Weak-ass focus groups FTL. I'll be using 1 slot.
The original save system was a key piece of the game design. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Three slots that you can choose from/swap between in the middle of a game? That kinda sucks.
Although if it's three slots so that you can start a fresh game from level 1 without deleting all your data, that would be pretty fucking awesome.

People complained about a friend coming over wanting to play, and not wanting to create a profile just for them. Best of both worlds really, since people can stick to one save if they want.

I love the addition of ragdolls. Extra satisfaction B)

Any news on the size of the download?

I thought I saw around 900 MB somewhere, but I'm not sure.

German compatriots, need to know if this is blocked for US consoles like NAOW!

I'm downloading the demo right now. So at least that is working (using an US account on a PAL console).

I was able to download it from Hungary (two countries away) and we are usually blocked from 18+ contents - but i can not purchase the full version, when i try it gives me az Information can not be retrieved from Xbox Live messeage. Probably because of the problems LIVE have been experiencing in the last couple of hours. Or i hope so because i REALLY want to buy it....

afaik + an automatic save-prompt after every closed (sub-)case.

Had no problems with the save system in DR1, but they better fixed those crappy controls (guns) and survivor AI.
