Thank you -- I tried this with blended beer but he didn't seem to like it...

Can't believe Chuck is a three-beer queer. :lol

aww stupid nelson. need to play this on my glorious PC.
Yeah, it's irritating that the game is on 3 platforms, but this isn't. I so would have bought this on PC, but now I have to wait till I get my new 360 :(

for anyone still left going 'why do you not bitch about this, but you bitch about similar dlc coming out after the full game?'

for me the answer is obvious. this is a standalone thing. i do not need the full game to play this. if i just wanted to spend my $5 and play this for two hours what do i care if there is a full game coming later or not?

If you liked DR, This is definitely right up your alley. They seem to have fixed my two major complaints-- Aiming and saves.

Although I can definitely see the daughter getting obnoxious.

This looks terrible. Who thought it would be a good idea to add all these stupid graphical designs on the corners of the screen? It's like I'm playing FOX: The Video Game.

Just got the A ending. Heck yea, this is Dead Rising. Still got a few more achievements to knock out, but man there are some crazy numbers already on the PP leaderboards. 3,208,326 PP. Puts my 137k to shame so far. :lol

After playing for a bit I can confidently say that if you enjoyed Dead Rising, you're going to fucking love this.
What if you enjoyed Dead Rising but felt it was compromised by technical issues (mainly loading screens) and terrible NPC AI?

Curious about the stupid
Infected lady who I have to give my Zombrex to. After I give her mine to get her to come with me, where else can I find a Zombrex so I don't have to spend 25,000 on one?

Nowhere else, you have to.

I think the pawn shop is the only place.

You will not like the loading in this that is for sure. The only real complaint I have this time around and I hope it is cleaned up by retail. Patch or otherwise.

Get the gems for Gemini or whatever she's called. Will only give you $15.000 I think

Looks like there's still way too many loading screens, unfortunately.

NPC AI seems fine... probably too good, actually. I led the way for 2 unarmed women (with another in my arms so it's not like I was exactly clearing a safe path), and they pushed any zombies in their way aside without a scratch. I didn't like to babysit in DR1 but I dunno, it felt like this may have went too far the other way, they don't seem to get in danger at all.

Go into the casino smash up the machines pick up the money then go back into the safe house, come out and smash the casino up again until you get enough.

Play the slot machines with money on the floor in front of them first, they win like 5 or 6 times in a row before going broke, then smash

JUST BEAT IT

FUCK THE POLICE

Now I gotta go back and rescue everyone and then level up, when I beat it I barely went up one level but I was rushing though and didn't really have time to mess around.

I just had the most epic moment with the time limit!

After having assembled the bike, the second I was given back control of Chuck, the cutscene with the military taking away Katey played out. When I loaded my game, I was literally hitting up and b at the same time, until for a splitsecond the game appeared on screen and then started to load the escape cutscene.

It's worth mentioning that I had to murder the guy with the handlebar because I was so low on time I didn't have the seconds to spare on trying to get into the hunting shop for his sword
:lol

Is there anything specific you have to do to get Tia and her friends to show up? It's 2PM and I have all the bike parts except for the handlebars. Been talking to Bob but he just keeps saying the same thing...

You'll need to find their friend Sharon. Sharon is located at the quarantine zone and will require Zombrex (can't believe that's the best name they came up with) to join you. You can either buy Zombrex from the Pawnshop or give her the one you found in the ambulance. You can then carry her back to the Bowling Alley and have Nikki and Tia join you.

Annoying glitch: unless you visit the safe house after the times when survivors SHOULD appear, they WON'T. I was putzing around from 2:00pm til 5:30pm trying to get the survivors to appear again -- only after I went back to the safe house and came back out did they appear. >.<

Where's the key to the hunting store?
If it's the key to the shed (as the game calls it), then
it's in the Hotel or Motel. Go around the back of it and jump on the stairway there, it's in one of the rooms.

Just got one playing for a full 3 hours or so straight ....and I haven't even completed all of the cases yet! :D

I'm off to bed now, but holy shit! As of right now, Dead Rising 2 is EVERYTHING I could have hoped for :D :D :D :D

Anybody else try out the darts that were on the lawn near the gas station? I threw one at a zombie and it went straight up in the air. I was thinking, "Why would it go like that?" A second later it came down and went straight into the zombies head! Awesome! :lol

This is definitely worth 400 Microsoft Points!

This game is awesome, but wow, why does it run so poorly and have such bad loading times? it's been four years since the first game and I don't remember that having these problems. Either way, who cares. This game sold me on Dead Rising 2 (on PC).

Are there guides yet for weapons and drinks?

so far the best weapon I found is a broadsword on the hotel roof.
