So how exactly do you replace scratch cards? Make the item again?
Pretty much. Or are you talking about replacing them with a combo card?

I am disappointed that the hunting goods store in my hometown does not have a rack of broadswords next to the composite bows.

Probably asked already but is the game out on xbla to purchase? What happened to Wednesday releases?

Yeah, it is under arcade games no idea why. I am just guessing they had a special release for this one day early so they can get it out on the 31st.

A special circumstance.

Yes it's out, and nothing happened to Wednesday releases. This was released today for whatever reason.

This game got me to pre-order DR2 off Steam. I'm so stoked to play some more. Unfortunately, I won't be able to carry over any progress I make in Case 0 to the PC version. Oh well, game fucking kicks ass. I've missed any and everything Dead Rising.

Just downloaded the demo, how much of the complete game is in the demo?

Might buy it, dont have points right now.

I loved the first DR.. played it sooooo much. Still I dislike the framerate in parts, and the graphics were kinda better in some parts in the first game. But still, who doesn't love DR.

I hope the PC version does not have these load times, they are pretty annoying. I do not remember the first game taking very long to load areas. Still I cannot wait to see how this game will full blown on the PC.

Load times aside I am pretty stoked to play this game after playing the demo. The weapon combination system is genius, I really like it. Now if only I could find what goes with a rake.

The load times were AWFUL in the first game when you went from area to area.. probably the worst part about the game. I don't know why everyone complains about the timer or save system

If you liked DR, This is definitely right up your alley. They seem to have fixed my two major complaints-- Aiming and saves.

Although I can definitely see the daughter getting obnoxious.
THOSE were your two major complaints? The human AI and the boss fights were much bigger problems with the first game. Thankfully it seems that they've somewhat fixed the survivors at least. They can run through zombies without too much problems. Sadly it seems that the boss fights are just as meh as before. Oh well, it's still fun and it will be even more fun playing with a friend in co-op.

EDIT: ^ Yeah the load times in the first game were terrible, and sadly it doesn't seem to be much better in this game. At least the areas seem to be bigger this time around.

Regarding survivor sidequest:
Where's the gems the lady keeps crying about?

On the ground in between some vehicles near the road block (not quite to the end). I was looking for them and totally had no idea I even picked them until I had them in my hand. Be careful because you can throw them as well.

The game is IP blocked for me. Ah well, until November then.

One other thing, I feel lost without Otis interrupting me at the worst times on the radio.
:lol
Seriously, I really hope we find out that motherfucker's been eaten.
That or an unlockable cutscene where he's tortured with a phone.

Does Bob's daughter
show up at a certain time or anywhere else other than the hunting shop?
She never seems to be there...

I believe it's only after
you defeat Jed

Did anyone else
kill the lady at the quarantine, rather than give her your zombrex?I also killed the handlebar kid.

bought case zero!
and will get Dead Rising 2!

shame they gave in to the cry babies over the first games save system, but oh well in this "HD Generation" where everything must be dude bromance shooters, its a sacrifice ill deal with if it means more unique games like Dead Rising.

They did it. They nailed the save system. They gave the whiny babies their extra slots and saving after every part of a case file is completed, but made it so you can still save your stupid ass into a corner and be completely fucked. Those wonderful bastards.

On my complete run I must of had about 30 seconds left as I assumed the last bike part would appear after beating the psychopath not knowing it was a gas can :lol

Pretty much this, the only thing in the entire game that bugged me was the load times. Although, I would spend a lot of time in one area so that relieved it for the most part, only bugged me when I was doing the case files and I had to go from one area to the complete opposite side and hit maybe 3 or 4 loading screens.

I still consider the original Dead Rising one of my favorite games of this entire generation.

Just got all achievements. This game is a hilarious. The drill helmet is almost like the return of the cerebral bore, and the boomstick is just wonderful.

Blue Castle Games have done a great job. The game wouldn't hurt from some more polish, but I'm not gonna complain too much.

I had a blast playing this short prequel on my own, can't wait to play the full game in co-op.

Word to the wise, guys, the game has a really shitty glitch. I was downloading the Vanquish demo while I was playing this, and as soon as the demo finished downloading, Case Zero reset. So now I'm staring at the title screen with my half-hour or so of playtime thrown out the window.

Come the fuck on, Capcom. That is goddamn amateur.

Just beat it and man it was fun for 400 points. Quick question do you have to spend 100,000 in the store on one run through?

Why is everybody talking about Capcom? It's Blue Castle Games that made this, blame them.

I just need to get the achievement for making all 10 combo items, but I can't find some of the required items. Anybody know where the Spray Paint, Battery, and Pitchfork can be found?
