In the end, the majority of the stream was very satisfied with what the team showed, appreciated the transparency of EA Motive and many fears have been dissuaded.

Having recently played Dead Space 3 on PC on 60 fps, I can safely dispute your statement. Necromorph movement looks more fluid in the Remake.There are some def improvements across most fronts except animations if anything it tells me just how early in dev the game is.
