Dead Space Remake - early development look live August 31 10am PT / 1pm ET / 19:00 CEST

Why do you have "influencers" and Live Streamers on this.....I am going to go yell at the clouds.....where is that old man thread.

There is still a lot to do for them. It is not bad but my expectations are high.

stream worth it for that screenshot alone lol
fuck me that looked good..

did anyone take a screenie ? i missed it

When you think about it, what really is the point of showing this so early? It looks great so far but why show it now when you don't have much gameplay to show.

Watched the stream for 5 minutes. They're sticking to the original material and it looks great, especially for a very early build. That's all we need.

So you can try to cut of the limbs, which could stay on the body through the flesh, even though the bone is fractured and then you pull it of with the stasis. Do we need to know anymore!?

Looks awesome. Already looking forward to the sequel, with it's slick armor designs and 360-zero g segments.

Edit: They incorporated the zero-g mechanics from DS2 into this remake. Awesome.

NO MTX

imagine being proud or happy about this.

gaming 2021-22 we will not try to fuck you over

Looks great so far but is really early build material.

I'm very surprised they're showing us this.
I think they're showing us this early because they are very passionate and confident about the game and honestly, it shows. I think its gonna be a great game.

This is looking really good.Really good.

And I mean, this is indeed an early look at the game, but it seems that they have made alot of progress. It feels like the foundation and the structure of the game is done.

I feel like they can finish this in 2 years.

Game looks great... I can't stand these scripted reveals tho... good lord they're uncomfortable and come of as extremely disingenuous. Dude did a good job, the girl seemed nervous and at one point I think even read the dev lines on the script. For the love of God, just let the devs reveal their shit... not everything needs to be a conversation with a internet streamer.

The animations still look kinda rough but this is a really early build so that may improve a lot.
Everything else looks so good, and having Gunner Wright back it kinda ties it nicely with DS2. Day 1 for me.

They are definitely saying the right things and are sure passionate about the development. They'll get it right.

There is still plenty of time but I do wish they would have asked about that asteroid firing sequence. Is this coming out next year or the year after?

They showed the right things and they seem to go about it in a well thought out manner.

I'm (still) very excited for this.

They're definitely on the right track with this. Super hyped.

Now give me a collector's with some awesome stuff!

Where is the cringe more exactly ? I don't think its cringe.
No shit, I hate the whole "cringe" thing cause half the time it isn't even used in the right context. Nothing about the stream was "cringe", it was pretty standard (unfortunately) for a AAA stream covered in marketing. That's really it. If anyone thought THAT was "cringe", I feel bad for them, especially when actual cringe happens.

Wow. How was that not an amazing stream? :messenger_fire: So much more interesting as compared to the usual schtick publishers do.

Can't believe I'm saying this but props to EA. And to the team for having the balls and show prototype footage this early.

I recall only Ninja Theory doing similar things with Hellblade and I'd love to see more studios taking this approach.

I don't care about the influencer-streamer chick, a sign of times man.

Super hyped and confident now it's gonna be the remake this game deserves, looks definitely on track for 2023.
