Death Stranding 2: On The Beach | State of Play Trailer

It was insane, last time Kojima did a trailer so impressive was TGS2005 with the first version of MGS4 (unfortunately later downgraded).

Man im still processing this and im about to rewatch it in 4K. Im actually shaking. The wait will be BRUTAL until this comes out, but the PS5 pro will be out by that time. This is easily my most anticipated game of all time

Very excited. Also, not buying Lou is truly gone. I feel that wouldn't have been spoiled by the trailer if that were the case.

Art direction looks so cool. These games look better than CGI movies to my eyes. I know they're technically inferior in terms of fidelity, but in terms of visual impact they're so much more appealing to me. The fact that they're playable just seals the deal.

This is so far ahead of everything else on so many levels that it's mildly unsettling.

It kinda is. What technology does Kojima have access to?

Also, I have DS on PC and would like to play DS2 on PC too but man I don't know if I can wait for the PC version.

No thanks, I felt scammed after spending 60 hours on the first one for nothing.
I finished the game as confused as I was when I started. No answers, nothing clearing up, everything too complicated for no reason. I couldn't stand the final scene on the beach, I didn't know what to do and I kept killing myself over and over, going insane 🫠

Hmm. I really liked death stranding but i let out a long sigh when watching this trailer. I really don't feel like trekking cross country again. I enjoyed it when I did it but i dont wanna do it again.

im sure we're getting trolled tbh

That was wild, as someone who didnt want a DS2, Im not gonna lie Im kinda in there, Kojima is better with someone to rein him in but when he's allowed to be crazy its still pretty entertaining lol.

Ah yeah right, a me problem, the game is definitely not known for being confusing af. Everyone I know who played it had the same problem lol Maybe it was easier to understand to some people than others, but don't pretend it's not overly complicated for nothing.
There was stuff with sometimes 2 hours of cutscenes where I didn't understand anything, and these 2 hours could be summed up in 4 lines of text, which means there really is a story telling issue.

DS1 was the Game of the Gen last time for me.

Can't wait.

And it needs to be said, when people say, "Where is Microsoft's output that can compete with Sony's?" they're referring to THIS, at least once in a while.
