So they build up EVIL and then they don't put him on the card but just be in the corner of Naito?

At this point, if Bryan ever wrestles again, they're just gonna have him come back after WM32 so Roman has someone credible to feud with after he takes the title from Brock.

Lethal's not defending the ROH title?

Presumably, either that or he'll be in the Rumble - I'd guess this Meiyu Tag/Los Ingobernables thing is going to go on for a while longer, so Goto will likely get screwed over by EVIL & BUSHI at ringside and/or interfere to cost Shibata his title shot vs Ishii.

I pray to god Bryan training in joo jeetsoo just means he's trying to change his style in a wrestling ring should he ever return. Cause putting him in an MMA environment will just bust him the fuck up. Zero confidence in him thriving in that field.

Would WWE grant Bryan his release if he asked for it? Does he have a timetable for long he's willing to sit around collecting dust? Wrestling in WWE is better, monetarily, but Bryan Danielson returning to the indies would be the biggest non-WWE American wrestler in the world, making AJ's resurgence look minor by comparison.

Doubt it. Those Yes shirts probably still sell. Remember how they kept Rey hostage when he wanted to leave?

Bryan Danielson coming back to ROH would be hype as hell, but Vince would never grant it. Orton's gone til 2017, so Cena & him are the only ones left on the roster that are actually over.

As both Punk and ADR have shown, WWE knows their contracts are unenforceable. If Bryan wanted out he could lawyer up and get a release. Instead he's collecting checks and learning BJJ. Nothing wrong with that.

I imagine he wouldn't want to do that with his wife still working for them.

Really good promo by Enzo on NXT.

I see him as DOA on the main roster unless he is a manager

It depends if you have a reasonable definition of DOA, e.g. not "booked like Brock Lesnar" which is what people were expecting for Kevin Owens for some reason.

That's true, but they wanted Rey to wrestle to make up for all the time he spent on the shelf, whereas they DON'T want Bryan to wrestle and probably never will, given the concussion lawsuit. Dreamer's an old broken-down piece of meat that nobody gives a fuck about, whereas Bryan is a young, popular star who will make a very public splash if something happens to him in the ring.
