Sanders consistently refuses to help cannibalize the democratic party. I have seen very many interviews where someone tried to get him to say something nasty about Hillary and he constantly says no.
They haven't been on a debate stage together until tonight. If it does begin, this is where it'll happen. If Hilary relentlessly goes after Sanders, especially on the Socialist stuff, that suggests that her dive in polls has spooked her, then the test will be on Sanders whether he decides to roll with the punches. I'm hoping he doesn't take the bait.
If I were Clinton the last thing worrying me would be Bernie Sanders. It's the general election she has to worry about and guys like Ben Carson. Just look at the polling.
You're overly focused on how Hillary will approach Bernie. The frontrunner is Hillary, so what you should actually be worried about is how Bernie should approach Hillary. Bernie isn't going to be the one to 'let' Hillary do something, Hillary is the one who is going to 'let' the other candidates do something. She doesn't have to attack anybody at all to maintain her lead. That's the question I'm most interested to see answered, because Hilary's attitude towards Sanders is the trigger for the rest of the election from the democratic side. If she loads the cannons, Sanders will see his chance and go for the rational old man approach and let Hilary make herself look desperate going up against a self proclaimed Socialist from Vermont.
If she goes the pacifist approach as you think, that makes the debate much more interesting and brings the issues they discuss right to the fore. If Sanders and Clinton get into a verbal debate about the TPP on stage in front of millions of viewers, that's a win for everyone.
Carson has no chance at the presidency. Just like Trump.

If Ben Carson is who she will be running against the ONLY thing she will ever have to worry about is Sanders. After the primary she could just take a prolonged vacation while Carson implodes. If I were Clinton the last thing worrying me would be Bernie Sanders. Typical debate bumps plus the elections isn't won by popular vote.

I don't trust general election polls this early. I find Carson beating Clinton a laughable affair.
All it would take is one debate, if Carson doesn't implode first.

Her image with general voters is more concerning than any fabricated threat Sanders is going to pose.
Whats the over under on bernie combing his hair for the debate
Not if Carson is her challenger. I'd put my life savings on the line if that political betting site still existed. Carson can't win 270 barring a scandal much, much worse then emails. Her image with general voters is more concerning than any fabricated threat Sanders is going to pose.
Can you give us a hypothetical example as to what this "fabricated threat" Sanders would pose is?

Yea, but Trump might have a shot at his party's nomination. He's held onto the top spot for too long for everyone to be brushing him aside when talking about who the GOP is going to pick.

A good republican challenger is taking on a huge uphill battle to win 270 already, let alone a loony like Carson with the charisma of a dead person and about as tone deaf.

Fabricated threat to her winning the Dem nom. The media is treating every poll where she's up by 20 as a dead heat.
Despite CNN and the media in general's efforts, I just can't will myself to care about this. It would take something absolutely inexplicable for Clinton to not be the nominee so there's zero suspense in these debates. Her competition on stage is few in number and low in public profile for a reason.
A few months ago things seemed a little iffy when the GOP was murdering Clinton day to day, but numbers have stabilized and the derail attempts have become more transparent. That was Biden's chance to jump in, realistically, since she's leveled off now with polling starting to reverse. All the party energy and money are still behind her, and, honestly, Sanders is not shaping up to be a long-term threat after his jumps the past few months. I won't write him off completely yet but I'll stand by "inexplicable" at this time. His base is white males and that won't cut it.
Yeah I'll pass on tonight. When's the next Republican debate?!? Their shit has gotten even crazier this past month with Trump not falling off plus Carson stepping up to squash even more of the candidates who are actually qualified. It's so nuts that goddamn Rubio looks like a moderate alternative to the non-establishment, which is insane to consider.

I agree with those saying it should be about the issues and not political shit flinging. Communicate that yes, this is a party who actually want to fix shit, not a bunch of petulant children who equate "I shouted the loudest/longest" with "I won this argument".
There were some polls that had Cain right with or even above Obama during his momentary surge. Are there any records of the aggregates at this point in 2011? Just curious to see how Obama was doing against similar joke candidates like Herman Cain.
Team Bernie checking in.
Bernie Sanders looks like he was a candidate in the 1800s.
unnecessarily meanSomething tells me that no matter what actually happens at the debate. You've got your list of why Bernie won ready to post already.

Oh the contender is trying. Its just more fun to cover the train wreck of the GOP so they get more airtime. There were some polls that had Cain right with or even above Obama during his momentary surge.
It's what happens when the spotlight is completely on one party a year before an election and the contender from the other party isn't even trying yet.
I'm not even sure what you're talking about right now. All I commented on was that you set up an argument to attack the he never made.
EDIT: The argument has and always will be, if their presidencies would look similar due to congressional fuckery, that we better make sure a Lib gets in for SCOTUS appointees as well as lower courts. I won't bother posting the numerous studies that show a candidate generally tries to accomplish what they run on. You've been shown that study and dismissed it plenty.
You're completely changing the argument from "is Sanders gonna be hamstrung by the GOP" to "evil Clinton/Obama and their pro corporate legislations".
Such a strange OP.
Will watch. I hope there is some criticism of Hillary, but not about fake controversies.
Yes it does matter if the moderate swing voters see it as too far left. Better to win with a candidate you agree with on 90% of the issues than lose with one you agree with on 99% of the issues. The original post i made was in reference to the fact that Bernie being 'too far left' doesn't really matter if the policy he champions would do real good.

I prefer 2015/10/14. The true international standard.Metric system adopted in America 10/14/2015.
I mean 14/10/15.
Only on CNN? Is it at least streaming for free online?
She use to be cool, but last few years she lost her mindAnd I used to watch her show a lot, she used to make sense to me.
Though on the flipside, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Trump debate with Democrats and Sanders debating with the Republicans.
