Change MTU to 1475 or 1473 in custom network settings.

This didn't work for me either. It did start giving me a "Sony is undergoing maintenance" notification but no luck logging into Destiny.

Did you try the trick of changing your MTU? I don't know what it means, but 1473 and 1475 have worked for people in my group.

Was fine at reset. I left my PS4 on and turned off auto shut down. PSN is on and I sent and received messages.

Takes a few attempts to get into it.
