Also, is the Fatebringer still an effective weapon? I've been wanting to give VoG HM a shot so I can maybe try to get it. I know its only a 300 weapon, but I still see people 31 & 32 use it on raids.

Fatebringer is still super relevant.

It is still a great gun. I use it on CE pretty much exclusively as do most of my clan. 5/6 of us used it on our flawless completion the other night.
Not sure how effective it will be on hard, we will wait and see. I hope to get the new raid hand cannon asap

Haha what an idiot. As if RNG has anything to do with skill. Buying from Xur, ironically, is one of the only ways which requires some skill since you need to complete weekly heroics to accumulate strange coins.

Membership in the no vex club hurts and just being not lucky enough should not be the reason why i can not enjoy the games full content. Everything that Xur sells should be rotated as well , every week something else, so people who are commited should get a chance enjoying everything that the game has to offer - talking to you Thunderlord. I know it will not happen as there is not enough content but there are players like myself who play since day one and still don't have things the would wish for.

So maxed out Ruin Wings, VoG boots, and an Unfriendly Giant with Surplus and Field Scout, and I spend all my time eating synthesis, unless I'm just on a patrol or something and then I'm running out of primary because it's raining purple :/

Edit: Does Field Scout and the heavy buff from VoG boots stack, or is that redundant, beyond clip size? And is Ruin Wings just Surplus from a different source? I have the same ammo issues with weapons that have no ammo related perks so I don't think it's a conflict causing a bug.

Edit again: Can you tell I'm praying for a horn? lol

Agreed. I combined mine with Plan C and used steady pop shots with 3LW to pick them off from a far or switched to Plan C when they got close (to devastating effect^^). Only snipers and handcannons bested me^^

yeah but when 6 coordinating Defenders with all or many having Saint 14 fueling each others super then you could lock that down hard.
