Chests will act in the same way in hard mode CE then?

So it would be a double roll on hard but if you get it on normal first it will be one roll?

All I hear about is raids now days for Destiny. Is there any substantial amount of solo high level content?

I'm looking for a good solo experience that I can progress at my own pace through. Currently trying Warframe out but it just doesn't play as tightly as the Destiny trial I've played.

I might do the raids eventually but with a 9 month old I don't want to try to commit to playing something like that.

GAF, I need advice. I received my first exotic bounty. My choices are Bad Juju, Thorn and Invective. I'm probably going to rule out Invective since I dislike Shotguns. So Bad Juju or Thorn?

Seriously what the heck is up with this game.

Backdrop:
So being the good people we are we took a buddy who is a 25 through his first normal VOG Raid. Feeling really bad for him,

Oracles: Energy
Templar: Energy

So far he is getting jack shit. So heading down to the exotic chest he opens it,

"What is a Gjallarhorn" Seriously, this is what he says. He gets a freaking Horn on his first try. Another guy gets the Red Death, the only other exotic I'm missing. WTF!!!

When the hell is it going to be my turn Bungie!!!

Got my first exotic ever out of gorgons chest! After opening that thing dozens of times. Mida multi tool. I almost shared my old 300 attack one today to make space and now I can!

The 2 chests I grabbed from alts without Ryck were just energy and shards haha

I think Thorn is better overall. Fantastic PVP weapon, pretty decent PVE weapon.

Bad Juju is alright. Pulse Rifles are just kind of eh at the moment. Fantastic against a bunch of thralls. Works great when combined with Obsidian Mind.

You'd think I was a Hydra with how many helmets I get from VoG Hard. Still no VoC, Fatebringer, or Vex </3

EDIT: HOLD THE PHONE I LIED! VEX MYTHOCLAST GET IT WAS AT THE POSTMASTER :D

Tell him that Gjallarhorn is a measly excuse of a rocket launcher and Dragon's breath is where the money is at.
Kidding more horns out there the better :-D

Have then both. Sharded.

Only ones I need are Red Death and 4th Horseman. Come onnnn!

It blows my mind that some have not gotten voc yet, it's a normal drop and I thought it was pretty common. Fb I understand as its a hard only drop on one part of the raid but voc?

Let's say after a million rolls, there's a higher probability of a roughly 50/50 distribution of A & B than let's say 75/25. You might get a streak of A rolls or B rolls but eventually it will be roughly 50/50.

And please, I did not say the casino's give you 50/50 odds. I meant to say the casino's rely on probability. It's kind of funny that you would even think I was suggesting that and go far enough to write a long post trying to explain to me why I'm wrong

NF2: 8 Shards
NF3: Payback SOS with bad perks

I also got a legendary engram from a Weekly that turned into 2 energy. Definitely the worst reward week I can remember.
