Raids, strikes, chests... you name it, I am dumb enough to keep doing it. I actually want to physically fight Crota, in real life, and torture him until he gives me a Horn. I know he has them, I've seen him give them out.

Probably time to re-examine my priorities/life. Or maybe it's just time to murder Atheon three times and hope for the best... until next week...

That's what is getting to me the most: Bungie clearly designed the HM raid around the Horn, yet they refuse to make it easier to get it.
And by "easier" I mean that I would be totally willing to farm a hundred commendations to buy myself one... ^^

Me and two other adult guardians ran it again after you left and had an even easier time, go figure. They were 30 and 32 with only Hungry Scrotas to their names but got him in 3 kneels on the second try. Normal mode pls.

I got a Gjallarhorn from a legendary engram before I got a Truth from a legendary engram, so I was actually happy with the Truth. Especially since I didn't bother buying it from Xur.

Also got my first Thunderlord from a legendary engram.

So much that I don't remember when / what it was.
It was not a Horn, that much I know! ^^

Why are there no legendary rocket launchers with tracking rounds(Gjallarhorn wolf pack)?
Hell, even if it came with only 3 or 6 tracking rounds, it would still be better than 99% of all the legendaries.

Got my first gjallarhorn on Christmas's eve then got gjallarhorn #2 and #3, both on the same day, 2 or 3 weeks ago. And finally got gjallarhorn #4 for HM Crota.

I don't have it yet, but I believe Hunger of Crota has tracking rounds. The IB launcher could also be had with tracking.

The only exotic I've ever gotten out of an engram, that an enemy dropped during a archon priest nightfall back in november, is gjallahorn. I always throw my knife, grenade and do a little dance in the spot where I picked it up.

I just played a Strike and someone got The Last Word...

I've seen so many Exotic drops this week, yet I've had nothing at all. I've had loads of Legendary stuff, but at least 70% of that was useless

No, Tracking as in wolf pack rounds that after the rocket has hit, scatter rounds that track nearby targets.
It is what makes the Gjallarhorn so deadly.

My yolohorn came from atheon maybe 2 months ago. Got my 2nd one a few weeks back from a legendary cryptarch engram, sharded it :/

I don't think the horn is necessary for Crota though.... Any good team with any rocket launcher should be able to do it. Even if you don't have tracking just shoot at Crota's feet.

not complaining about truth, it was one of my very first exotics!

before I got ghorn, everytime I would get a purple heavy engram I would get really excited. when I saw the gold rim come up , the outline of a rocket launcher, I become overwelmed with excitement and then the truth came, literally./ lol

Truth is the best RL for PvP easily though...and even in PvE it's arguably third or second best (the other one would be HoC or Radegast's Fury if it has field scout and tracking both).

I feel like trolling the hell out of some randoms. I need one more to be my partner in crime though. We use nothing but NLB in a Weekly Heroic just to see how long the random stays with us before they quit.
