Did the Devil's Lair strike so I could get to level 11 and hit Venus on hard mode (leveled to 14). That was...not fun? The strike was enjoyable as long as we had forward momentum, going from encounter to encounter, but the 'survive lots of waves' section and two bosses were a total grind. You guys were not kidding about the health overload on the two bosses.
My deaths were nearly all due to dudes spawning on top of me.
Yup. The orb (Sepik Prime?) was more interesting than the tank, but I kept finding spots where guys would suddenly spawn all around me. Nothing like turning around and finding a Captain standing in your face.
That's a bummer. I hope they are taken down by say, 75%.

Because I've played 75 effiecent hours of Destiny, half of that being spent on PURE repetetive farming, and I've gotten 2 legendaries. One of them being a shitty pulse rifle.
It's unfair - but I played vanilla WoW so I shouldn't complain - unfairness can be part of a loot game...
Every decent drop I've had came from PVP.lol didn't get any legendaries from the second moon mission 1 farm. Fucking A' at least I got enough blues to level up my cryptarch, which the package he sends has the chance to give me up to 3 legendaries.
OH WAIT. It didn't even give me any. Lol. I guess that's officially the last farming I do on this game, it simply isn't worth it. Guess I'll go play some PvP and hope for some loot.
yeah let's relax a bit while people are gearing up. I don't think we totally get how much damage can be done in pveI'm not sure if it's a good idea to bring them down to one rocket kill.
My rocket anyway.
I actually find the Devil's Lair bosses to be the least offensive in the bullet sponge territory compared to other strikes.
Hell no.
You can breeze through most strikes with the proper gear.
Heh..., Im at around 40-50 hours of gameplay. Im trying to grind up an exotic bounty unlock, i have enough Motes of Light for an Exotic chest engram, as well as enough strange coins for gauntlets come friday.
Every decent drop I've had came from PVP.
Raids arnt Exotic Class items required..., Unfortunately my luck isnt for the Exotics :'( Actually got another Legendary today kicking my total to 7.
I don't know how the leveling works, but we spent what felt like 10 minutes plugging fire into both bosses. It's the kind of thing that really turns me off from playing them again.
The thing is, it's important it stays that way because that's how they make character progression and loot feel rewarding. Something that took you 10 minutes in the past, now only takes less than 5 minutes because you have made advancements to your character. It makes you feel powerful and is critical to loot based games.I don't know how the leveling works, but we spent what felt like 10 minutes plugging fire into both bosses. Well, I'd rather the combat be more interesting than just plugging away for ten minutes. It was neither hard nor fun, and just doing that faster isn't something that appeals to me in any way. I've leveled up to 11 now, and feel more powerful as a result, due to my expanding ability set and gear. So I don't think it's accurate to say you have to have grindy bosses to make you feel more powerful. The thing is, it's important it stays that way because that's how they make character progression and loot feel rewarding. If everything is just easy from the get go, what is the incentive to improve yourself?

At any rate, if that's indicative of the bosses in strikes I'm going to add them to PvP on my list of things to avoid. Which just leaves me with the story missions.
I hate Devil Walker more than any other strike boss except for the last boss of the Moon strike. Only reason that boss is more annoying is having 3 sword Knights or Wizards spawn on top of you.
So, I've played the Dust Palace strike multiple times now and not once did I receive any of the PS exclusive items.
This along with that vanguard armory bullshit really pisses me off. Those useless weapons don't even give weapons parts upon dismantling.

When does the Crucible reset? I hit the max
A few questions:
- What is the fan for on top of the postmaster building? Why can I switch it on and off?
- What's in the closed-off area of the Tower with the door you can partially see through?
- When does the raid go live?

I like the Spider tank because there's actual visual feedback that you're doing damage to it, in the form of the armor being destroyed on the legs. As for Sepik's I feel like he just doesn't have that much base health but I could be misremembering.
Same exact thing as me! I damn near died laughing. You just have to laugh now. Like the joker laughing and going insane and wanting to choke someone to fucking death.Picked up my first ever Legendary Engram drop tonight! I took it over immediately to the Cryptarch and watched as he revealed it to be...
I uhm... I guess it's better than nothing? =/
