Do all Material Exchanges give the same Rep amount? Just turned in some Spinmetal since I have a load of it from doing patrol with some friends and saw that it only gives 25 rep.
I believe motes buy exotic engrams and strange coins buy the gear itself. He sells both. I'm ready for Xur this weekend, I have 23 strange coins and 23 motes of light.

Yeah, it's for all the strikes in the game at harder difficulties.

Yeah, right in front of where you spawn in for Patrol, there's a small building with stairs inside. Go down the stairs and you'll find a small room with 3 Hive Majors/Elites. They're easy to farm for the bounty since they respawn quickly. Kill them, go back up and outside, kill the Dregs and Shanks standing outside, and by the time you finish that the Hive should have respawned. Rinse and repeat.
Oh, those Hive are like Level 16 or something though.

Yup, they all give 25. Only difference is what flavor you like collecting the most.
I feel your pain, I have 100 Marks to spend and am only Level 1 and 1/3...

Start the second mission on the moon, The grave one. there are 2 ultra knights just outside the cave enterence to the level. kill them. retreat to space. go to the same spot on patrol. rinse and repeat.

Just got this doing a chest run on Mars, didn't know you could get ships in chests too, is there anything you can't get in those things?
One of the things I dislike about this game is how they give the same exact object multiple names. Giving it a different name doesn't make it different. I have that exact ship with a different name. I also have multiple bonds that look exactly the same and have different names. Seems lazy.

I'm getting them on Xbone. Shit, I have to run a VPN hotspot to actually get the game to run at all. I've tried contacting Bungie and my ISP about the issue, but Bungie doesn't respond to anything and my ISP says they are "investigating the matter".
This is a very different Bungie from the Halo days, that's for sure.

Cool. Only need 23 more marks and I can afford a new piece of armor. No rush though I have the whole week. Might as well get an extra 20 before next tuesday assuming I can't get a helmet as a drop from somewhere. I'll just chill for now.

just stumbled upon a 5 player team starting the raid. I started helping them and they invited me to their fireteam. They were getting completely destroyed by lvl 26 enemies. Like one goblin was killing 2 of them taking it on. They were level 22,23,24. Pretty damn sad

Just noticed that there's a trophy for getting to Vanguard Rank 3 and I've been doing Dead Orbit for the last twelve hours. Oh my god.
On the plus side, I'm sitting on 24 Strange Coins so I'll be getting something nice this weekend. I've got 19 Motes of Light as well, can they be used anywhere other than on the Speaker's flashy crap?

You've got to give it to the Ship vendor in the Tower to get the real look, the preview doesn't show the unqiue colors of the ship, just a generic one. I had the same thing happen to me with a different ship name.

Hit level 25. Can't get any higher with legendaries though as I have level 20 rare helm, gloves, and chest as well as legendary boots.

23 Motes can get you an Exotic Engram from Xur on the weekends. At least that's what he had for the first weekend.

Shingen-E if you can find it, but if not that probably the cydonia never tried the Shingen-C.
As to shotgun it doesn't matter really, damage is normalized all you need to do is get close, shoot and falcon punch

I don't really use AR, but as for shotguns, anything with a large ammo count or reload speed is great. Some Rare shotguns might have an ability that lets you move faster while using it, that could be good if you want to run and gun.
