Glad they increased the frequency of Public Events. Those are so much fun and you get useful rewards for em in marks and mats if you get Golds. They also make patrols and exploring around more dynamic. Never know when they will come at you

The only problem now is that I'm normally all alone in doing them.

Just play crucible matches. They're pretty easy to come by.

Couldn't actually hear anything that was said. It kept cutting out and very choppy. Did I look like I was lagging on your end? Everything seemed fine on my end. I've never actually heard a coherent word from anyone with in-game voice chat so I dunno what is up with that.

Did you try the Earth method? I managed to get a bunch of blues and one legendary on it. All within about 2 hours.

doesn't matter because the loot is completely RNG, there is no way to bait or trick the game in any way to get more of something, it's all luck.

This is also the main reason why bosses are annoying and nothing more then bullet sponges to finish a mission, they reward nothing.

I'm not sure how that's a bad thing honestly. Special weapons are good enough that the ammo would be worth fighting for, just like heavy ammo.

It's a weekly thing in that you have to complete it within one week, otherwise your progress gets reset.

Eh. I prefer if the fight were on the actual objectives rather than the ammo. I personally don't care for special ammo when all I need is a full super bar and I'm set.

Yeah I've only gotten 3 legendary items, and all 3 were for the chest. Even worse was that I BOUGHT the same armor first...

The only auto-rifles that are death lasers are the Shingen and Cydonia, the Sahara and its shoot-a-likes are worthless for headshots and the galahad has reasonable recoil. So really, it's only a subset of AR's that need a nerf, and the rest need a buff so they're not pointless. At this point I feel like AR's shouldn't be able to get headshots, that they should have more dps on bodyshots but get no, or less, of a buff for headshots.

That'd work. They'd have to make sure they applied the fix to the Legendary takes on the Shingen-Cydonia model (high ROF, high Stability), and the decreased headshot bonus is a good idea as well.

My gauntlets and boots were bought with marks. My chestpiece was from Xur's exotic engram. I do have two legendary chestpieces, but yeah...

Marks are the solution to not being lucky. And all you need are two legendaries and some level 20 blues to hit raid level. One week can get you one item from crucible/faction and one from vanguard. The next week can get you a helm from one of them and the fourth piece from another. Just need weapons after that.

Engrams are just a potential bonus, don't get overly hung up on them. At least not if you're going to get upset. That's how farming works.

My marks are definitely coming along, but getting a Vanguard rank is like worse than any grind imagineable. It's gonna take me a week, and I don't get to play much. And you have to be rank 2 before anything. Is the Daily/Playlist Raid situation any help with this? Becaue my Vanguard Rank seems to be utterly stagnant.

This is why I love the Titan's Knight set. Looks fantastic, even (especially!) at default.
