yo is it me or is this a beast on 24? I'm loving it. leveled up my legendary gauntlets after dying 5 or 6 times too... good shit.

It's certainly very hard being underleveled. The earth nightfall strike was no problem with a 27,26 and 25 working as a team.
This shit though? Fucking witches bullshit and then the knights with the shields and shit. Aw yiss. I need some kind of good legendary void weapon before I tackle that shit with my crew.
You definitely want to be 27-28 though this time since there are no spots which can be cheesed like on earth.

Where does it show your faction reputation on either the app or website?
Weapons don't unlock till level 3 across all sellers. Problem with swapping to the Faction is that they require level 3 as well, so you may as well get your Crucible and Vanguard levels to 3 before going to Factions.
Unlucky. My group had no issues like that.
Are your PS4 vents free of dust and fluff? Destiny makes my console run hard...

The raid is terrible. Fuck I haven't even gotten past the first boss, because it's a god damn grind and the lag is terrible. I got one engram drop from 3hrs of playing. God damn.

To my fellow hunters: I've been running Bladedancer and I've loved every minute of it, just wondering what you guys recommend for passives for PvP. I love being agile, but I feel like just a tad bit more armor might help stop me from losing the odd firefight to AR wielders (I use a hand cannon, btw).
I'm about 1/3 toward rank 3 and I got an exotic bounty this morning. Friend of mine is also rank 2 and received 3 exotic bounties in 3 days. He is so lucky.
Its definitely not linked to rank 3. Could have more chance to get one but its not required that's for sure.

I have a couple questions about Xur if anyone remembers the answers. How many Motes of Light does it take to get an engram from Xur? I have 35 and counting. Also how many coins did it cost to get a weapon from him, they're also stacking up again pretty nicely.

I saw weapons for crucible rank 3 and the other factions, but not vanguard rank 3.
But I guess if that's how you get an exotic bounty then I'll stick with vanguard. Hopefully someone can confirm

Wouldn't surprise me if it stays like that until Bungie reworks the loot system a bit.
I really think they should make loot drop more often in higher level strikes. Maybe give final bosses in the level 20-24 strikes a guaranteed rare engram drop with a chance of it being legendary.
Did you go in blind, without knowing what to do or did you look into what was required? My party of level 26s went in blind after it unlocked last night and went from start to finish of the first boss in 2.5-3hrs.
Also, Bungie said it'd be hard. I'm hoping you weren't expecting a cakewalk through it, especially not on the first day.

yea if that's representative of end-game content then i probably am not going to keep the game. bungie has absolutely no clue how to design bosses and the raid is by and large no exception. instead of grinding away at one bullet sponge, there are 20, and now you have status effects on top of it. it's not difficult; the objectives are very simple, but throwing wave after wave of adds to chip away at is monotonous. i didn't' feel challenged running away from explosions. no lulls between encounters; barely any clever mechanics. it's just a mess of purple flashes and bullets. and from what i've heard, the reward isn't even worth it. what's the fucking point then?
i've enjoyed destiny for it what it was, but it has yet to show me it can surpass that.
That's interesting because we had no lag whatsoever. Might have just been the time I guess.
Take a deep breath, have a drink, maybe even take a day off from the game.
Or better yet, try it with a different party.

I don't really get the farming and grindfest mentality. If you don't enjoy that just play the game and gear will come as it drops. I play games to enjoy myself not watch little progress bars and numbers go up. Sure it's fun to unlock a new gun or amour and I enjoy that aspect but I don't go as far as raging or wanting to trade a game away about it. SMH.
