Fuck this game. I can't find any effective way of getting good items. Did the Moon farming spot. All I get is blue Engrams, and the majority of the time they turn green. I am getting so bored of it.

And I love crucible, but the matches are long, so there's no way to speed up the grind.

Never had anything NEAR a purple and I am really struggling to bump my light level up when I can hardly get a blue most the time.

I get at least 1 blue every strike. Try that? People farming are gonna burn out.

You could always go the boring route and farm on the moon mission called The Dark Below or Skywatch on Earth. Farming methods have been posted here, or you can check on YouTube.

That's the thing. No shaders! I got it by just drops or buying Engrams from Cryptarch which is why I said I got lucky lol. I wanted to buy shaders but they are all locked for level 20 only sadly from what I know so far.

I just realized, as a Titan Defender using the Bubble Shield with Armor of Light, I can actually go toe-to-toe with a Blade Dancer in melee combat. That significant damage resistance helps.

Sooo first off I'm glad that this seems to be working for MOST of you guys, go get that purple Stuff!

But it seems like there were also still alot of people who didn't really get it to work properly.

This video is about 16 minutes long ok. I explain EXACTLY what you have to do and what you should'nt do to achieve the highest success rate with this farming run.

Additionally I go over ALL the benefits of doing this and why this is not only a great farming spot for loot only. But also VERY good for Glimmer and other stuff.

So please check it out if you're still unsure about certain things, and even if you already "mastered" the run check it out for some nice footage maybe ;D

Blue Engrams can turn into legendary items, I got my legendary greaves from a blue Engram.

Legendaries have been a bit more common since the complaints started, I have to say, but you should hang on to them until Bungie publicly says that's what they've done.
