I'm hoping Bungie trolls people again and makes Xur like a monthly/biweekly event, with another random merchant this weekend selling useless crap like legendary ships or class items or some dumb stuff. Just to see the rage and dissappointment for all the people that were saving up for exotics this weekend. Or just give him crappy legendaries, but at a lower cost lol.

Going back to a mission in progress, selecting 'resume' starts the mission over while selecting 'restart' drops you off at your saved checkpoint.

Is this how it is or am I going mad?

Question - Any reason to keep Legendary from another class? I assume they aren't transferable? I've just been dismantling. 3 Legendary found, 2 from another class.

Don't dismantle. The vault is shared between your characters. So just save them if you ever intend to make a secondary character. Unless you really need the ascendant stuff, but that shit will get to you quicker than legendary items.

So, Warlocks can apparently break down a Bubble Shield with their super, and Hunters can Arc Blade into the bubble like it's not even there. And both have a teleport ability? Titans seemed much cooler in the alpha/beta... when they could do more than move slowly and sometimes block ranged damage.

It means "Kills+Assists MINUS Deaths" and is not that difficult. And afaik it can only rise and not fall back down. Just play a few decent rounds and you will do that. And put 16.000 glimmer aside for the next part of the quest!

Titans excel at support. Level 25 Titan Defender and I feel perfectly balanced.

I'm the same. Must have decrypted 15-20 and now have a vault with 2 legndary titan and 1 hunter armors (I'm a warlock).

I think buying from vendors and then upgrading is 100% the way to go. In the meantime If I get a drop on the way I'll view it as a bonus.

Nearly at Dead Orbit rank 3 now. By far the coolest looking armor IMHO.

I have a legendary shotty with that ability and it's really fast. I love it. 6 shot magazine, fast fire rate and decent range for a shotgun.

I wouldn't hold out for that. You'll likely get a loot strange coins/motes that you could use tomorrow at the exotic vendor. Plus you'll raise your Cryptarch level quite a bit and will have a shot at scoring more engrams or even an exotic item.

I can tell you it does. Firing a full auto is much quicker than just quickly pressing R after eachother. It cancels out half of the reload after every single shot. Recoil is insane though.

Both. You can also get them as random rewards from things like chests or playlist strike completion, and the weekly strike gives 3 per difficulty completed.

You need 8 days to get up to 200 marks for either Crucible or Vanguard, which is enough for 3 pieces from either faction (or all four if you do both and get the helm from the opposite faction you buy the other 3 slots from). It also should be enough time to get 13 coins to buy one exotic armor piece from Xur on Friday/Saturday.

you can do as many random events as you like but there is only 1 reward per day (the one that you get from the postmaster).

theres also random rewards after you finish the event

Nice. I've seen a few lists of public evet times (usually every 15 minutes) but has anyone devised a farming route for them yet?

It would be good if you could complete one then quickly go to another area where the next one is due to drop and just keep chasing them like that.

I may have a go at doing just that in old Russia tonight.

It's not guaranteed in 8 days. It depends if you have time to max rep/marks for vanguard/crucible and have time to farm motes/coins which still have an element of RNG.

However, if you do have time it is very likely if you focus your playtime as required.

You'll only have 3 choices to pick from and I believe it is random which 3 you are given to choose from. I just got my first one today and I went with Voice in the Wilderness, for the heavy machine gun. Unfortunately I need Xur's ass to show up again to proceed past the second step.
