Honestly, MPQ has been more forgiving drop-wise than this. At least they know how to handle rarity better in terms of presenting guarantees. There's no reason a blue should give me anything below a blue.
If you like Strikes and don't mind being half as slow in progression, just focus on Vanguard gear lol.

I disagree. You get 18 kills or so for every death on the moon. Way faster than waiting on groups of three to come out of the cave 6 times.
I have no clue, doubt anyone does.

I'm not sure. I have the super ability to send a shockwave in front of me, and the hunter was in front of me of my super. I killed his buddies behind him.

I need to do it more, thinking about that. Does it matter what level I do the playlist on? I'm level 24, so I could probably do up to the 24 playlist.
I check the gunsmith every time he restocks. He almost never has blues. Yesterday I saw a blue, but it was a Level 16 hand cannon and some other low level shit. If I see him with a level 18 blue auto rifle or scout rifle, I will definitely buy it though. I don't think he stocks level 20s does he?
Like, consistently or just one game?

The problem was they nerfed the damage and the rate of fire. They should have just done rate of fire.
I hate how I can literally hit a target dead on, in mid air, and it not kill them. What kind of beast can take a missile the face and laugh at me? That should be a kill, I don't care if a super is activated or not.
Also, did they do something to the sound? When I use the interceptors in that Cabal strike, the impact sound is like the baby "thwip" noise. It makes me feel so weak.

Only for right now. With a lvl cap bump down the road people ought to be able to get this no problem.
Though I'll be honest, if the expectation on Bungie's part is that people would need to wait for a level cap increase-- particularly if it comes in the form of packed into paid DLC-- before being able to achieve that particular trophy, that should rightfully become a PR nightmare for them. Every trophy ought to be reasonably obtainable given the toolkit in the base game. If it relies heavily on something you need to pay extra for, you done fucked up.

I don't think they're stronger, but their shoulder charge is fucking ridiculous. Well my shoulder charge anyway. I get like 10 shoulder charge kills per match lol.
Warlock and Hunter has slight range in their melee I think.

Thanks so much for your guides, I'm just hitting 20 and having fun just doing patrols and bounties as much as the story - I've only just got to Venus - and I sensed that the systems weren't a traditional loot RNG-fest as I seemed to be getting decent gear without trying and the vendors seemed fair; but your posts nailed it and layed it all out.

In FFA, my striker has the shoulder charge attack. If I sprint for longer than 3 seconds, I can melee to do a lunge forward an insta-kill someone. That's fun.
The Titan Smash is fun as well. It's great for jumping into another Titan's bubble shield, as well as awesome for control points with tight corners you can jump around.
I'm still using the flash bang grenade, but I think I'm going to try the supressor grenade next time I'm doing PvP. Apparently it prevents people from using their super/melee special/grenades as a debuff.

FINALLY! After 2 hours of grinding Rumble and A LOT of swearing, I finally got 500 points with a void weapon complete! Now the next step is to do the Moon strike but leave Phogoth alive and wait for the dropship to bring in an elite Wizard. Does this need to be done on a Heroic difficulty?
I was well past 60 hours before my first exotic anything

It's groups of 5 actually (often more if the Thralls are spawning), and they spawn every 7 seconds. Plus if your'e going to be there a while, you'll get strange coins and Ascendant materials from doing the skywatch event.
I got hired just by calling my current employer and saying I need a job.
No interview, no application, no nothing.

Just to be clear, you actually have to to grind the THOUSANDS of necessary Vanguard/Crucible/Faction RANK points in ~10 point (matches/patrols/strikes) and 50-100 point (bounties) blocks? There is no other way to get rank points by, say, turning in the variety of collectables for example? If not, what exactly are these collectable trinkets for, strictly armor/weapon upgrade materials?

I'm glad to hear there were others who perceived the intended design. I agree with many complaints about it not being communicated very obviously, but I also "got it" pretty intuitively and from there just wanted to learn more. The moment I understood something different was going on here was when, at level 22, I equipped a pair of level 20 boots to advance to level 23. This is a very unusual thing to do in any game, and it reflects a lot of the subtle differences Bungie has applied to the various formulas that brought Destiny together.

Just did the Nightfall strike as a level 26, with 2 level 27s. At the end I was relegated to the "scream if the shrieker appears" role.
Got a pulse rifle (http://destiny.gamepedia.com/Bad_Seed_Down). I prefer auto rifles, but this is my only legendary weapon.

You can turn the collectibles in for marks. Not sure about rep. Crucible rep you can IIRC
You can turn in materials for rep, but it is not all that rep efficient. It requires 50 pieces of material for +25 rep, +5 marks and +250 Glimmer.
