Its just a a small portion of a map, its not like there's enemies or any type of design in there.

We'll wait and see if Bungie screwed us over, but till then, it's just a map, that's pretty much the easy part of making content.

If it's the House of Wolves DLC you're talking about then King's Watch is plenty fleshed out and is also populated with Lvl 20 Fallen.

Same goes for the Jovian Complex strike area. No enemies but that map looks pretty done to me. No obvious areas connecting to portions of the map we can't see/aren't finished. The Seraphim Vault is the only one pretty much locked up other than it's initial walkway.

Thunderlord has that. Seriously I doubt they compare. Thunderlord shoots with less recoil and more stability than an AR and has some other useful perks as well.

Pics. Thunderlord get's unwieldy after that speed buff.

Like I said, those things are like the first things done in production of levels. Actual well made encounters, scripting, and events are all the things that take up time.

Ill wait and see, I wont dismiss your claims, but they arent exactly truth at this stage. If they do dick us over and there arent that much changes, then yeah, that's kind of a dick move, but we dont know whats going to be up with the expansion.

We did it Hawkian, Carbine, Jay, Wins, Palum (I bet I got that wrong)! Suck it Atheon, suck it hard! Now that we have that out of the way, time to streamline the process in the next run so that Hawk can write his tip guide with authority ;) I ended up getting Chatterwhite to go with my shards, it was waiting at the post office.

Ah, I was like dang, people must be pinging him like crazy for help haha That's alright, we had our victory dance over that glass made bitch corpse!

Yup! Well done gents. Wednesday 9?

So I have been using the Suros rifle and it finally became awesome when you get the stagger rounds. Also noticed a "hidden attribute" with it. The gun has the bottom half of the magazine does extra damage normally but I noticed that the final round does even more damage and there is nothing in the description saying that that is an attribute.

That was fun. For a bit there, I thought we might be stymied yet again but we pulled it out-- funny how unexpected his defeat finally was, it caught us all by surprise!

So my final tally of loot was chatterwhite, raid gloves, and some shards. I'll take it. I'd love to get a nice gun out of it-- something to pray for next time!

The problem with LMG's is some enemies seem to have a soft damage cap for LMG's. The swarm for instance is a small capacity extremely hard hitting LMG, yet does almost the same damage as a high capacity, lover impact, faster firing LMG to heavy targets like bosses and praetorians. So basically heavy hitting LMG's aren't worth using to me.

Wednesday 9.

Btw did it with 4 hunters and 2 warlocks. It wasn't easy, but totally doable, especially after assigning specific roles.

outside of the glitches which obviously need fixing, it's an incredibly well-designed encounter and a worthy end to a great multiplayer experience. thank you to everyone on my team including mostwantedzero, sorry you didn't get to partake in the kill.

I'm not saying "the only thing in December's DLC is The Jovian Complex Strike" or that "the House of Wolves DLC is all in King's Watch and finished". There are story missions and other strike locations that we haven't seen yet, absolutely. I could rattle of a few actually. And I definitely agree that the way an encounter can play out can make an area that may seem bland while empty come to life and be a blast once the enemy assets and scripting are in finely in place.

However when it comes to those two area already in Old Russia, The Jovian Complex and King's Watch, I'm betting those are done in terms of level design and just need scripting-- and spawn info, etc.. in the case of Jovian-- to be implemented. If the other strikes in Destiny are anything to go by, they take place in a singular area that you are locked out of while on Patrol. Devil's Lair is the final bit in The Refinery, Winter's Run is the bit past the locked door near the Ketch, etc... The Jovian Complex Strike is likely going to follow that pattern and the environment, etc.. will remain unchanged. It'll just be populated and we'll get some dialogue triggers. I'm not even really holding out for a new enemy design :\ And King's Watch... who knew what the the hell they were thinking populating that place and just leaving it. It's probably just a story mission which is fine. It is a cool place that works well in environment of Old Russia, but the game feels so damn starved for content as it is that the fact that there are these areas nearly fleshed out in the launch product but are behind a paywall is super irritating.

The more I use the last word the more I'm pissed that fucking none of the legendary armor with intelligence and discipline has bonuses for handcannons. Who decided that somebody who has to use handcannons should focus on strength?

Fucking ridiculous. And maybe Crucible has it I don't know, I'm not about to get to rank 2 in crucible.

So pretty, nice shot! Next time we will stand/sit around for a group photo before porting out.

I forgot I have plans Wed night but I'll see if I can get them moved to tomorrow.

We started strong but glitches delayed us, especially the weird incident with deaths in the middle. Once a couple of us said screw it and stayed outside, no more issues there. I also discovered how beastly my sniper was against him which I didn't try last night. I can only imagine how quick he'd go down with better weapons.

I ended up with chatterwhite, raid chest, leg armband, and shards but alas, the chest is all but worthless to me since I plan on getting the exotic chest. Only one I didn't want hehe That's alright, if I end up creating an alt to make more Raid runs per week to complete a set, he can wear it!

Dustwalker Gauntlets for Hunters have Intelligence and Discipline, and increased reload speed for hand cannons :)

Well, Rahool was rather generous today. I leveled him up and got a legendary engram from his package. Turned out to be Gjallarhorn!
Holy crap.

Because...because...

It's usually the Boots that have Hand Cannon bonuses, I've found.

Just completed my first normal raid

Got vision of confluence, corrective measure, and leg armor(no chatterwhite:(

It was pretty fucking easy honestly lol.

Edit: I did get the shader it was at the tower :D

So I found a way to glitch into The Citadel on Venus, into a place called The Terminus, which was meant for the 2015 DLC. Its pretty cool, it has 3 dead ghost, and is somewhat unfinished. Fun place to explore.

Well, the last jump was pretty tricky as a warlock, but I did it. Woop.

Can't wait to pay $20 to kill stuff in here.

Edit: last jump to a ledge, not the jump into the beam. Have to jump out enough to get out from under the ledge without gaining too much momentum to force you to glide off in the wrong direction.

I see where you're coming from, but all we can do is wait for it to happen at this stage.

Bungie should be focusing on Raids and Strikes at this time. Thats where the meat and potatoes of this game are, and unless the worlds become massive and explorable, I doubt just adding in new areas will satiate peoples needs. And while the story could be worked on, its not like its been a driving force for any of the players whove played the game and are still playing the game.

Oh, and add a bajilion new classes to the game, and allow for titans to use the sword of crota as a super. :P

Also, im going to assume that those areas are going to be free for people who want to explore them and the strikes and story missions on them will be things you have to pay for. It's still pretty scummy, but what are you gonna do?

Need four more for the raid on normal. At gatekeepers. Need a titan with weapons of light and one person for the relic who knows how to use it.

Message me on PSN or PM me here if interested. KneelBeforeSaad on PSN.

I don't care how many times I get cut to ribbons by a bladedancer, there's nothing like watching 3 people go kablooye via magic missile.

Knowing exactly how to beat the final boss in Vault of Glass, yet being unable to execute after hours. Fun, but so frustrating.

I don't care about boots. Their only need should be for walking, and that is theoretically what they'll do. If logic and reasoning were to follow, not to mention the laws of probability, then it is also likely that at one point in time these boots will walk all over you.

Always amazed at some of the RNG luck I see in this thread. Exotics coming from engrams, random crucible matches, vanguard strikes, etc. Where is my luck dammit?!

I finally got my Thorn! The moon strike where you have to kill the certain NPC was a huge pain in the ass. My brother spotted the NPC amongst all the chaos we were just trying to survive and he was able to kill it somehow.

Hey, we need one more to finish off Atheon on the normal raid! PSN me at PaperDude42 on PS4 if you want to help! Level 28 would be good, but 27 is acceptable!

Sorry friend, I spent 4 hours tonight trying to reconnect my PS4 to wifi. At least I know every single PS4 error code by heart now.

We breezed through the Gatekeepers in like 3 tries with the new strategy. Got some ascendant material. Final boss...well, there's always next week?
