Anyone willing to join me for the Weekly Strike at lvl 26? I'm level 26 myself, but I wouldn't mind trying to help on the level 28 one...

Am I the only one that think the exotic bounty part where you have to kill a wizard is actually harder than the raid? Maybe we just did it wrong, but we did so many times.
 
Only difference between normal and Iron Banner PvP is I was able to survive a titain smash super, not sure if bugged or intended.

Anyone making a group for Nightfall / Weekly Heroic / Raid?

So Iron Banner is light +30 guys when fully upgraded? Cause I'm gonna need it then. Only lacking raid chest and gauntlets atm.

Don't. The delay on kills/hits is the only thing preventing me from scoring higher than a 1.25 k/d average. I'd easily be on 2-3+ if my shots registered and peopel died like they were supposed to. I don't really care about the stats themselves, but the feel of the game matters to me.

A 3 k/d game feels like winning. Coming from a semi-comp background I need to know my deaths are because I got outskilled, not because the lag got me. I'd be happy with a 1.25 average if everyone I was playing was great at the game.

I wanna do the weekly strike but sadly am only level 26, so maybe the lvl 28 strike might be too much for me (ie, my weapons not doing much damage...).
 
I've been doing raids with random groups of people... just grabbing an invite when I can. More of my friends finally caught up though so I ran it with five other people I know tonight, and damn that's a lot of fun! Bungie really did a badass job with the raid and the various strats needed, and hit just the right balance of needing good communication and teamwork. It's just really tightly designed and such a good time with like minded folks.
 
Nightfall and Weekly anyone?

Apologies in advance for any deaths on my behalf. I got the Pocket Infinity bounty so I'll be a bit reckless throughout most of the Nightfall mission.
 
I what to love my Thorn I really do, especially the work it took to get it, but I run the daily on level 24 once with Thorn and then with my Suros

They just don't compare, the Thorn makes me feel like I am fighting with it to perform and it make progress slower

with the Suros I feel like Rambo and just mow down the enemies so easily

Tips.

1. Snipe everything down until the boss. (You have to snipe or you will got one shot by hopgoblin.
2. Snipe/rpg everything then the boss will appear.
3. Stay at the entrance area and the boss will stuck at the opposite side of the cliff. You have to go out of cover a bit to shoot him.
4. Kill everything that come to kill you quickly because most of them do elemental damage and can kill you in no time.
5. Fire the boss whenever you can.
6. Enjoy your reward.

The multi burns will make everything melt. You just need to be quick and accurate to stop them from swarming you.

A close range sniper with a large mag would be ideal. My 6 shot Arc flavour Supremacy with a short range scope is going to love this NF.
 
Thorn users rejoice! Someone just put up a 7k score with it(level 28) in the iron banner. Fully upgraded damage per shot must be really good.
 
Last 2 Iron Banner matches I feel so robbed, the lag is ridiculous. Glad I got the bubble shield with Weapon of Light. Those lame ass campers trying to hide behind a rock get 1 shot killed by me once they reveal themselves.
 
Reaaaally want that Iron Banner armor but doesn't look like I'll get anywhere near rank 3.

I didn't even make Queens Wrath rank 2, will the IB ranks be any easier?
 
I really don't understand why Bungie thought it was a good idea to give absolutely 0 reputation for losing in Iron Banner.

Quitting is going to be absolutely rampant over the next week.

Did Iron Banner. My fully upgraded hand cannon does the same damage. Suros is absolutely bonkers. Came across a guy with Vex Mythoclast. He out dps'd me using Thunderlord.

And yes I'm only level 25 but I just did my first Iron Banner match and somehow came out on top with the highest score and number of kills. So i'm lucky as hell when I play if that count for anything lol
 
So how exactly iron banner differs from regular crucible? I've been playing it for a while now and it isn't what they promised it to be. I mean I'm level 27 titan, and a level 12 hunter can easily kill 1on1 (we start to shoot at each other roughly simoultaneously.)

I'm a level 26, been looking for people for about 20 mins now but everybody seems to ignore my posts. I'm not sure I'm as lucky as you but I can try either way? We could also do the weekly strike if you're up for it.

No mic right now though, sorry.
 
Damn it, I clicked on the credits as I hadn't seen it. For some reason Bungie hates skipable cut scenes & credits so now instead of getting slaughtered in iron banner I'm stuck here listening to Paul McCartney, Bah!

The mesh layer room could get pretty hectic. We camped out at the back by the tunnel and whittled everything down. I didn't find the rest too difficult though.

Usually I find the NF easier than the Heoric simply because the burn makes it so quick to drop stuff. If your team is co-ordinated and on the ball you can tear though it.

The heoric is just a slog. I wish the standard was more like NF.

I don't mind. Just happy that someone got something, unlike all but 2 (neither for me) of the 40+ tiger strikes (between my Titan and Warlock) I have done since the patch.

Edit: Also you helped speed up the kill. I would have probably been there another 30+ minutes constantly waiting for the special ammo cooldown since I didn't have anything else to kill the dang shanks.

Straight up. My fire rate can't keep up. Even if I'm aimed perfect the time it takes me to pull off 3 shots which is what I need for a kill is too long. This is some goofy shit. If you use auto this probably feels the same of not slightly faster. For anyone else lol
